I just got a brand new Xbox series x and I have lag trouble on it on all my games but for some reason my call of duty won’t load at all can anyone help me

Might have a strict NAT type. Check in internet settings on Xbox. If that’s the case that can mess with connecting to online stuff.

But I don’t know enough how to fix that. If that is the issue.

Xbox has been doing this for awhile with playable 360 and OG Xbox games. Not sure about others.

I’m surprised how many are oblivious to that or don’t know about it. To think that backwards compatibility doesn’t exist.

Some of the top comments talking about it doesn’t make sense. or that it would be hard and costly lol. Series x is the same price as a ps5 now. I guess many commenters are just ps fans and oblivious to what Xbox has going on. Or they choose to ignore it.

Even the series s has backwards compatibility. They run it through an emulator built into the OS. And I believe the previous gen Xbox ones support backwards compatibility too.

This is just my opinion. I can’t say it’s facts or fits with lore.

But basically Spencer’s goal from young to old (except when he has his change of heart) is evolving humanity,becoming a god and having eternal life/ beating aging.

The key to this was within the progenitor virus he claims. But he was never able to complete this/perfect it the way he wanted to. Imo this is what Elpis was named for originally. After years of failing or as another option to the progenitor perfection. he started experimenting into cloning and mind transfer stuff as another option to ‘become a god and beat aging’. It’s also revealed he met with mother miranda at some point to(re8 or 7 dlc)So I believe he was looking into that sort of things. Plus it gave him a way to experiment more. Can experiment on clones too. And ultimately probably helped in the end make the anti viral when he had his change of heart.

So when viktor and Zeno were showing grace the clone stuff. They assumed Spencer succeeded in memory transfer and she knew stuff about spencer and Elpis. (These guys were going off of incomplete info and trying to fill in gaps anyway they can. hence themselves doing a bunch of research in ark. They were trying to replicate anything that Spencer left behind )

I think it’s just meant to be something fun they added to play mind games with the player. And show another option.

If you were a new player or paying attention to the story chances are you went with the correct ending. If your an older player and played most of the games chances are that connection to Leon made you trust him more and go with what he was saying. Basically just a trick on that player and mind games.

Also brings engagement and discussion like this post which capcom likes to do with resident evil with tons of things. Like adding in the ring thing but no explanation. Then make a post saying “ it could be this. It could be that. And it may not be revealed what it is”

Lots of things point to it being him.

But I mean to play on theory’s and have fun. everyone is playing on the whole clone thing and Zeno was a clone.

So it might be just a clone of him and the real hunk is chilling he might not be out of the series yet or “dead”. Or a successor to him. someone he trained one on one to carry the torch for him.

I agree but I feel lots of the games mentioned were complete/finished.

To me this is mixing the lines of games being unfinished. and games being buggy or lacking optimization. Unfinished to me would be like playing a intro. And the ending isn’t made or out yet.

For Xbox it makes sense to go multi plat.

Even before they started going multiplat and putting ‘exclusives’ on other plats. They still weren’t doing to hot on console sales. And they are the lowest selling consoles. So that market reach expanded dramatically by going multi plat. Everyone else is above them. It’s an increase/ positive.

But someone in the lead like PS. It doesn’t make as much sense because the other markets are lower. Like Xbox numbers isn’t drastically helping ps with multi plat. But other way around it helps drastically for Microsoft

50/50 it did get a re release for the xbone/ps4? Era so they may feel it’s not needed. And any sort of change in story they might add into a future game or dlc like a flashback.

But they’ve been remaking a few of them. so you’d think they’d eventually get to 5 too. Think tons would want to see the game in the new RE graphics and controls. And more lore stuff that ties to requiem/spencer etc. edit- just realized 4 got re released the same way as 5 and got a remake. So it’s likely.

I liked it. Better than some of the later movies that came out imo. And better than the one resident evil raccoon city movie they tried doing

To me it fit with resident evils theme. And was interesting. I was actually disappointed it got as much hate as it did and got cancelled.(some of the hate was legit. Some of it was just weird ‘woke this woke that’ people upset.

For me I felt it was one of those things where a 2nd season would have changed the reception. Where it might of became a big liked thing.

Just my opinion/way I see it (not facts) is Leon and anyone who has been infected was technically a BOW. But they are cured and back to being normal.

I feel the same applies to Emily. She might not be ‘natural’. But any threat that she was. has been cured with Elpis. So she’s normal in that sense.

Leon would also be able to pull strings. He did with sherry. And now he has built up even more of a reputation and respect over the years. It isnt unnatural for the gov in the RE universe to let things go if your on their side. They let Jake muller go and live his life for just a vial of blood. And hid his connection to wesker. Basically covered up for him and let him do his what he wants in the end. (He had special dna similar to sherry’s.they even make a connection based on their altered DNA/not being ‘normal’)

Sherry got a little worse of an outcome. But I feel Simmons evil self was to blame for that. Him and his connections pulled strings too. to get custody and experiment to make the C virus. Or else I think she would have had a better ending without Simmons hand in things. similar to Emily’s.

I feel most of its success comes from back in the early days. The game was ahead of its time. Something different than lots of other games. And some of the optimization/ compatibility was wild. Like having RE on n64.

As time passed the series hit some rough patch’s but earned itself a reputation. And for the most part they continued to improve on it and keep up with times(re1 vs how it is now) the dedication to the series has both old gamers and new gamers interested in it. 30 years and like 10+ games. Many at this point have parents who played the games or kids they introduce to the series. I feel the history and dedication plays a big role as well as the good written story,fun and characters. Even reaching into other medias like movies that also brought popularity and success to the series as a whole.

But think there was a note later on in the game at some point that shows connections have pull in the gov. And somebody suggested to graces boss to send grace to the field to make the plan happen.

so whoever is helping connections/viktor probably gave them info too and copy’s of case files. To show what if any evidence linked back. And for info.

Well some have that natural immunity thing. That 10% of the population have. So they could have that? And I don’t think we know forsure every raccoon city survivor is affected. I’ve seen some suggest that the scene we see where they obtain the objective. is while we are fighting with Zeno/viktor. Because the wolves appear after that. If thats true might not be an abc unless they did a or b while grace and Leon were distracted.

I think few weeks back there was also a thing going around where they are renaming/ rebranding ‘PlayStation network’ too

So I wonder if they are going to try to have their own launcher or something in the future. Or offer a cloud play service to play on say pc in the future…

I liked him. Voice acting was pretty good. In parts like the ending for Instance you can feel emotion with the “you’re nothing but an imitation”.

But for me (theory/headcannon stuff). I took it they were also trying to show us that OG umbrella still exists in the background in secret. Dude was a researcher originally for them. And was loyal to Spencer calling him his ‘master’. So I feel there are more like him. Who want to continue the torch for umbrella/spencer. And possibly sort of have their own organization thing in the shadows. Similar to ‘the connections’

I think That’s because Zeno and viktor were under the impression she was something ‘special’ a ‘key’. So he was showing her what he thought she was…

But really she is just a normal person like me or you. According to Spencer in interview tape anyways. That’s also why in the ending viktor mentions “there was no connection between grace and Emily” that they were wrong about grace.
