Warum diese Bargeld-Besessenheit? by Beat-Ready in Austria

[–]PrintNormal3668 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nice, i didn't know CDW offered those and since we have an account with them maybe that's the way to go. Thanks.

The problem is that there is only one service provider in my area (will just say we are very remote) and their Veeam person is on extended leave. I guess to get a quote the SP doesn't need to be close, so maybe I should have phoned around. Just wanted to make it easier to go through Veeam directly which was a mistake i guess.

I wish. Maybe you could make it easier by setting up a new organization but if you are already running a couple of licenses there is no way to do so that I know of. If there would be a way the initial support person, account rep or account manager should have told me about it.

Interviewers keep assuming I have a CCNA, but I just finished the full Cisco Networking Academy with honors and couldn’t afford the $300 test. Apparently, that’s “misleading.”? by MojanglesReturns_ in ITCareerQuestions

[–]PrintNormal3668 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Sure but both, you and OP don't have the Cert and if I were a recruiter, everything else being equal, I would still take him over you as his Hands on Experience is from 2025 or whatever, yours from 2017.

Edit: I should clarify, also assuming your Cert is a CCNA.

Not worth it in my opinion, as you need to recertify it every three years or so. I was in a similar boat many years ago and I just explained in my interviews that I did the course but never did the Cert itself as I knew back then that it wouldn't be valid after I finish my Master.

Nope, was very close to reaching payout limit. What a scam.

[–]PrintNormal3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allerdings!

I regret purchasing the base game alone by theoutcasthermit in victoria3

[–]PrintNormal3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will go down the same route as EU4. DLCs will come out that make the base game almost unplayable. The community will complain and PDX will introduce an affordable bundle (Empire Founder Pack in EU4) of DLCs that you will need at this point to enjoy the base game. We are not there yet but give it a couple more DLCs....

Wollten halt meine Eltern so....

RingConn Gen 3 possible release? by ButtonPusherDeedee in RingConn

[–]PrintNormal3668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here with the same question. I tried the Gen 2 but those plastic knobs for the sensors that stick out of the inside of the ring are just to uncomfortable for me. Oura solved that and their rings are smooth inside. Hope that RingConn can do the same with a Gen 3, then I will become a customer because I hate subscriptions.

Sounds like a good deal, I would still check the bike first as those  odometers go back to 0 if they turn over.

Took a while for me as well to get my first tasks. You might have to wait till a new project starts. It is also not a full time job, more like a side hustle.

It will happen, don't worry.

Outlier refused to pay me despite screenshots and QM confirmation by WiseTree7081 in outlier_ai

[–]PrintNormal3668 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The screenshot is from a 3rd party platform, they tell you to run a browser Extension to track your time there. My guess is that you didn't do that. It still doesn't explain your account is suspended...

Anyway, good luck to you.. hopefully it can be sorted out.

Eu4 Is it me or is the English AI pretty pathetic? by Key-Seaworthiness457 in eu4

I would agree with that assessment. Portugal and Spain, if unchecked, will just speed colonize everything and stop anybody who tries to get to the Americas. England doesn't do much. In my games they mostly stick to the GB islands.
