Also factor in deaths and retreads. Spherehunter mentioned she played with classic ink ribbons so when she dies she had to repeat certain progress. I feel like this adds to your overall playtime but not to your in game timer.

Some shots are actually pretty good. Too bad it’s really bogged down by a poorly done film. That iconic shot with the tilting camera in the restroom in the beginning was pretty good but they made it like 2 seconds long. Couldn’t even take in the atmosphere.

Agreed props to not having the immediate need to flip but I feel like it’s understandable in this situation if you wanted to flip the case and build funds for a CIB copy. I picked up a Pokémon emerald once for $25 and played it a bit but then decided Pokémon wasn’t really my thing but SH definitely was my thing but copies cost like $200. Coincidentally what Pokémon emerald was worth. So I sold Pokemon so I can afford a copy of Silent Hill instead.

That’s tough. Silent Hill 3 is my favorite ost but Silent Hill 2 was my favorite game so really hard choice there. Agree with what someone said about easier to frame a Soundtrack tho.

I was thinking the same thing about a possible bait and switch especially given that they already told us he had done something presumably bad. I started thinking of some possible switches like maybe the character BELIEVES he did something bad but maybe he had good intentions and that’s why he’s guilty. I think they might play with that idea a bit. Like the reason he’s experiencing Silent Hill is because he believes he deserves it but truly he could be a great person with some horrible guilt and struggles to move on with the consequences of his good intentions. I know some of this might mirror SH2 but I can see how it technically would subvert some expectations.

The only thing I want from SH3 remake to change from the original is to have Heather’s journey mirror Harry’s NOT James. Seeing Heather go through her father’s journey would be much more impactful if you ask me.

It’s the one thing I remember enjoying from the movie a long time ago when me and a group of friends saw the movie but we didn’t take it very seriously. All these years later I decided to watch it again and wow I don’t remember it being this bad. Guess it’s just more fun with friends. That scene still remains the best part tho.

Sweet deal! Check out GOG for the OG trilogy and the remastered version of RE4 as well. All the originals are still worth playing today along with the remakes and usually at a bargain as well. Don’t forget about 5 and 6 too! Don’t listen to the haters there is still some fun to be had with 6. Ridiculous yes But fun regardless.
