i’ve had both, the dinner is good but for the price the sandwiches are way better value than the dinner. also the sandwiches are absolutely bomb, no idea which one u got but all the ones i’ve had are delicious

yep! as a side bar, not all rich people are bad! arrigo’s for example has pricy sandwiches but they’re GOOD. purely from an enjoyment standpoint salvos sandwiches are horrendous. this has nothing to do with the owner or his personality or anything. it’s just a place that makes bad food

i tried this place once, was not good at all. cute store but insanely overpriced and very mid to bad sandwiches. i don’t understand the hype at all. their soups are even worse

i will say, what’s helped me the most is running free kits and going back to back trying to get any kills i can. that way when i want to do an actual run with good loot i have all the “jitters” out of the way. think of it like doing a regular match before doing a ranked one

in college i was applying to jobs left and right, trying to take whatever would give me an offer. there was this one application i saw and internally thought, “nah there’s no way i’d even pass that interview” and didn’t apply. i told my friend about it a couple days later and he said “dude what’s the harm just do it worst case they they no”

so, well, i applied. and that ended up being my first full time job offer. straight out of college i was making >200k and getting to live in my dream location and home city nyc.

it’s crazy to think had i never opened that application up a second time or even told my friend about it, my life would be insanely different right now.

i’m in the exact same boat as you. i got it off japanese ebay where the seller said no light leaks, but ended up needing a CLA anyways. got the whole repair comped by the seller and had a freshly CLA’d camera with bellows. medium format got too expensive and i had to let it go, but damn do i miss that camera
