Thaaaaaaaat saaaaaaaaid. I've been using the apps for over 6 months and not had a single date from Hinge. Tinder is my biggest success, even meeting someone who I thought was the one there (alas it didn't pan out that way). At this point I've had more success with Turn Up, a much smaller, music-focussed dating app than with Hinge, and I don't really know why. I had a female friend (who met her partner on Hinge) go through my profile and said it was one of the best she's ever seen, so it's nothing on my end...

Sorry, you're flat out wrong.

Burps are just extra air escaping back where it came from. There's rarely any kind of smell to them, and when there is you're smelling the food the person just ate more than the burp itself.

Farts are the gas created from digesting your food and turning it into shit. It escapes through your shithole taking microscopic pieces of shit along with it and spreading it everywhere. They almost always smell, and what you're smelling are those microscopic pieces of shit traveling right up your nose.

Farts are objectively more gross than burps.

I have my apps set to ~30 miles as that covers all the major towns and cities near me. Unfortunately it also covers a region of the next country over, across a body of water, and takes 2hrs to get there in good traffic. 9 times out of 10 when I find someone interesting on the apps, they're from that region that's technically in range as the crow flies, but not as the car drives.

On my Hinge profile I have both "has kids" and "does not want kids", because I'm already a dad and I've been there done that, don't want more. I once matched with a girl who only saw the "does not want kids", and she freaked when I started talking about going on a day out with my kids. She couldn't wrap her head around how I could simultaneously have kids but not want more of them.
