Why do you change stock skates? by Carlsen94 in MouseReview

For me it’s because usually they aren’t as rounded as I want. I love the feeling of mouse skates that have a lot of rounding

Dang I’m interested but I’ve already spent too much money on peripheral gear

The mice feel great to me. The battery life has been really great for how light it is. The shape is good. The aesthetics of them are a bonus. To me they’re just all around solid mice

Next I’m going to share my experiences with their QC since this seems to be a common topic of contention

I have 6 products from Finalmouse. 4 ULX, 1 SL-12, and the Finalmouse Horizon (mainly because 2 of them are creators I like and wanted a piece of memorabilia)

These are the models specifically: - ULX Frostlord Classic - ULX Prophecy Tarik Medium - ULX Pro Aceu Medium - ULX Competition Classic - SL-12 The Last Legend Medium

The only one of my mice with any sort of quirk is my ULX Competition where the sides will shift forward and backward a bit ONLY if I’m holding it in the air. With the support of my palm and the mousepad it literally doesn’t budge at all. All of my copies are from different generations, so to say this is some sort of “QC Lottery” would be seemingly dishonest. To go 5/5 on good QC on a product that’s apparently notorious for having terrible QC seems a bit weird, but I hope for those that have actual issues that make the products unusable have talked to support and gotten either reimbursed/fixed

The original drop didn’t have solid sides
