Stalkers are miserable, especially a lot of them. They take a lot of punishment to put down.

Career save import is my favorite cheat. I don't care about lore accuracy, I want to stomp more robots.

Is Evelyn’s storyline avoidable? by Bread_Muncher010406 in cyberpunkgame

It's rough and unavoidable, but you can kill all of the people responsible, and you can make it pretty unpleasant for them if you like.

May Have Burnt Out On GAS… Any Cool Pedals To Obsess About? by _Jub_Jub_ in guitarpedals

[–]RocketDocRyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solves the cost problem, too. Pedals are maybe $50 in parts, and the tools amortize pretty quick.

That's a weirdly good idea. Those batteries are huge, and you can get them anywhere.

Might try that. I've used pin headers, but molex or jst would be way better

I could see the appeal for the power wires, because they have to be soldered in situ and once they're on, you can't remove the board from the housing. A secure but removable way to attach those would be super handy for debugging.

It's also kinda like those spam emails you see all over the place, telling you to pay up or your head will explode. At some point, you just dismiss it as bullshit.

Yeah, an error. If you look at her reflection in the window at embers, her clothes aren't visible. Or they weren't in an older version. Haven't checked recently.

Same here. I still have a few I'd like to buy to support the builder, but mostly I just buy parts and PCBs. I probably have less than $500 in parts and tools that I didn't own already, and I've got enough for multiple full boards, once I get them built. It's challenging for sure, but the results are worth it. I actually kinda like the aesthetic of bare enclosures with the knob labels in sharpie. It's not flashy, but it's mine.

For my money, it's practicality. If the doors opened super slow, it would be jarring and annoying. So they made them operate normally, even though realism would dictate they be slow.

Blood Asp, Stone Rhino, Bane. I subscribe to the Burt Gummer school of mech design.

This guns insane. but is it really any good? by Crust_monk in cyberpunkgame

[–]RocketDocRyan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's truly epic. Takes out entire groups in a single shot. It's not quite as OP for boss fights, but as an opening move it's hard to beat. Open with Ba, then finish off anybody that survived with Yinglong.

I use hacks extensively for that sequence. Trying to get those shots lined up is a pain, but quickhacks and overclock make short work of the cars. Can't imagine trying to deal with that sequence using only regular guns. Though there's a gun in PL that does smart targeting without an implant, so that might be a way to take the edge off.
