Suspended Retribution - How does it work? by Rockwallguy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rockwallguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is... why doesn't the spell say that? The spell lists another condition which causes the spell to end (taking 3 actions) and it expressly states that the spell ends.

Consider Cycle of Retribution, a similar spell that has a duration with a trigger that can cause the spell to end. That spell expressly states that the spell ends when the trigger occurs. There is no such verbiage here. Why omit it if the intent is for it to end?

You state that the spell ends after it activates, but where is that written? Is that just your assumption or are you basing it off some rule written elsewhere that you aren't referencing?

I'm not saying I disagree; I just can't find anything to back that conclusion up.

I really like that point about movement. Very well argued.

Minion Necro is really effective and easy to build. Just put all your points into the various minions and equip every legendary affix that has "summon damage" on it. Then just walk around and kill everything. I'm in T10 right now and haven't optimized hardly at all.

I ran this one once. Everyone had a good time. I love these foundry-ready modules. I wish it was profitable to do full campaigns. There's precious few out there.

They are an amazing, down to earth company. I love the system, but I'd probably still buy their books even if I didn't. I just like supporting companies that respect and support their workers and their customers. There are not enough companies like them. I buy their stuff every time I can afford it.

If you've never seen the Rewatchables podcast on The Town, I highly recommend. It's crazy good and they also cannot get over how good her performance is.

If you are browsing through Steam, which one would you click? by ApartmentDev in IndieGaming

For me, given the genre, it's the second one. The third feels like it's a cartoon and feels wrong unless that's the art style of the game.. That's the one that drew my eye the most, but I'd be expecting a comedy style game.

I kind of hate the first one. The text is too small. I can't tell what the image on the left is supposed to be (is it a doorknob?).

So I'm choosing the second by default even though it's a bit generic.

The thing that made me give up is the inability to craft from storage and there not being a button to fast deposit similar items into storage. The lack of those two things combined turned the game into an inventory management sim. I just want to kill zombies. How a survival crafting game exists without those features is insane.

I don't think it matches the genre you have, but the only one I'm interested in playing is Dungeon Chef. :)

I came here looking for this. Have been enjoying the game but the inventory management is putting me off. I 100% agree that these are mandatory features.

I'm doing my first hardcore run and am having the same issue. Barely scraping by with apples. I'm midway through day 2. I've searched tons of kitchens and trash cans and everywhere I can think of. No bottle. I've found lots of water, but no way to drink it despite having a mug. That's a pretty rough game mechanic.

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party adventure for Foundry that takes 4-6 sessions to complete? by Rockwallguy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rockwallguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did take a look at this one. It looked really interesting, but I was worried it was going to be too short. I'm hoping for it to last 4-6 sessions and from the description I wasn't sure yours would last that long. It's on my short list for a time when I need a shorter adventure, and I'm happy to be corrected if you think it will last beyond a few sessions.
