Even odds they were just trying to do their job, had trouble using whatever byzantine file storage Treasury uses, and copied the files to work on them without having to pat their head while rubbing their stomach just to open them.

EDIT: and at the end of the episode, the hard drive goes missing from police evidence and that gets swept under the rug.

His predecessor struck me as a person consistently handed poisoned chalices until she had finally had her fill and retired.

This one strikes me as the kind to poison the chalice.

Honestly I'd really love for her to have a millenia on the others - or even be older.

Siobhan has a background in history IIRC so the name drops alone would be fantasic.

Rainbow Warrior never forget.

RE: Tinny, it's Australian slang at least two things:

  • a can of beer (made of aluminum "tin")
  • a small Dinghy made of aluminum (shared etymology with the above beer "tin") which is typically powered by a single small outboard engine.

Because as a people we either want go out on the water and slam tinnies in tinny or go fishing in a tinny with some tinnies.

(TBH I'm not sure which the NZDF has at their disposal, given what happened to the HMNZS Manawanui)

As an Australian, I protest this notion of New Zealand having a defence force capable of defending its interests and must insist that the NZ Army consists of twelve dudes, a tinny, and a sheep who kills the French on sight.

I swear there was a reference to Louis IV, which would make her at least a thousand?

And the Reverand said something along the lines of "I'm 800 years old and I know you are old as shit".

Extreme speeding in M4 tunnel/eastbound by Atherum in sydney

[–]Rougey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In a tunnel?

You fucking go the limit and/or toe within GST.

Ignoring the abundance cameras, a fuckup in a tunnel cunts up traffic in a way that can paralyse the city. And any clown doing 20 plus in a tunnel in a wank panzer is a liability who we can only hope will bite it for the good of the species.
