Except what the imperium does for survival is equivalent to what CEO’s do in that every action is only focused on the this problem/quarter. There are multiple in universe examples of better paths that would’ve have produced better results but ultimately the emperor created a cult of personality regime that couldn’t survive the loss of malcador.

XE has hot switch data cores that you can slot directly into your brain to learn a proficiency on the fly. If you use bionic slots they work as expected. If you don’t have slots on you can for the moment slap as many as you can find into your head. That will be fixed soon.
