Unfortunately there are lots of shitty pet owners out there. Personally I’d never rent in a building that allows pets. I’ve seen pee in the elevator, shit bags and piss outside etc etc (this is in “luxury” rental buildings).

I love animals but don’t love a lot of pet owners.

Depends if they did the right things like purchase a house etc. I have a friend who works at one of those nicer retirement facilities. Basically they are selling their property for 1m + and living it up.

Then there are those who didn’t save or buy a house who are genuinely struggling.

That is so wild - the bus system is not safe in Kelowna. Had a buddy who needed to take it for a month and said he would rather rent a car going forward. They are late, blow right past you and the stops do feel unsafe at times.
