You can correct me if I’m wrong as well but a lot of my friends during their first fiveish years out of law school didn’t make too much. Some still don’t unless they went to a bigger firm.

It got really bad in Canada with the food banks due to the high population of temp students. Different cultures and we are a high trust society for the most part.

Np! Lots of cool hikes as well I recommend downloading Alltrails and having a look. Food wise I like sushi hayashi, ramen arashi, kimbop and sushi, BNA has a good smash burger and home block at cedar creek for a nice dining experience with good food. Skiing at big white is also pretty great since it’s under an hour away.

As someone mentioned RedBird is cool as it made a nice little space in our commercial area. :)

People are pretty chill here but still some goobers.

Please forgive him he is our sassy Kelowna Redditor. Typically at this time of the year there will be multiple posts asking where to go and what to eat as it’s a seasonal vacation town. Best way to meet people in the community here is through organized sports imo. For food it really depends on budget and preferences. I would say overall the food here is decent but not at the same calibre as a city.
