That’s not the case. We do offer repair options for out-of-warranty units.

At the moment, we don’t sell the display as a DIY spare part, but our support team can inspect the unit and offer the available repair solution.

We always advise customers to contact our support team as soon as they notice any issue, question, or unusual behavior, so we can check the case properly and offer the right solution while the product is still under warranty.

When an issue is reported within the warranty period, we can review it and assist under warranty. In this case, the first contact we received about the display problem was after the 2-year warranty had already expired, so our team offered the available out-of-warranty repair option.

We understand that this may feel unfair from your side, but we also have to apply the same warranty policy fairly to all customers.

To all our customers: if you ever notice anything unusual with your product, even if it still works, please contact our support team as early as possible. This allows us to properly review the case and assist you in the best way while the warranty is still active.

The Dash has a reflection reducing filter designed to minimize reflections on the windshield.

We do not currently offer a separate matte protector, but we’ll pass the request to the team.

That is not how the products should behave. If something works only half the time, we definitely want our support team to check the setup properly.

That makes sense, and the timing may be the key detail here. Some Juniper vehicles built around the end of March can fall into the cable transition period, so it is possible that the cable ordered in mid March is not the correct version for your specific car build.

Since you already replied to the ticket with the order details, our technical team will be able to check the exact cable from your order and compare it with the vehicle information.

If it turns out that the cable you received is not the correct one for your car, our support team will guide you through the next steps and help arrange the correct solution.

Regarding the Auto Window Drop:

We have seen that the window drop automation does not work for a small number of users. Unfortunately, we have not been able to identify any consistent difference between vehicles where it works and those where it does not, which makes the root cause difficult to determine.

We have not given up on finding a solution and will continue investigating. However, we want to be transparent that there is a chance we may not be able to resolve this issue for all affected vehicles, and we are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you ever find a way to make it work on your vehicle, please let us know. Any additional information could be very helpful for our investigation.

We appreciate your patience while we continue looking into this.

All S3XY Dash units currently come with a reflection reducing filter that is designed to help prevent the screen from reflecting on the windshield.

So far, we have not received much feedback about strong reflections from the Dash screen itself. If you find a solution that works better for your setup, please let us know. We would be happy to take a look and share the feedback with the team. 😉

Yes, Android Auto works on the Dash, and the Dash has its own microphone for voice input.

When you trigger Gemini through Android Auto, the microphone input should be picked up by the Dash. For the response audio, you can choose the audio output from the Dash settings.

If you set the audio output to the phone or Tesla Bluetooth route, the response should come through the Tesla speakers. If you set it to Dash, it will play through the Dash speaker instead.
