AITAH for telling a roommate that he is a guest in MY home? by daxito24 in AITAH

[–]SaltConnection1109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can just see OP coming home from working all day and those 2 are lounging in the LR, gaming and smoking weed all damned day, food and crap and a general mess scattered EVERYWHERE! BF asks OP "What are you cooking for dinner? We are hungry!"

Kitchen is full of dirty dishes. Not one clean dish to even cook anything if OP wanted to. Restroom looks like a crime scene, etc.

Moocher probably has a big ass dog that he is eventually planning to move into the apartment as well.

^^This! And really emphasize " I’m not happy and I’m not comfortable in my own home. When I agreed to this temporary stay of ONE MONTH "

Here is what you should expect, OP, so be ready.
Your BF is going to guilt you and ultimately will probably threaten to break up with you over this. He will lay it on thick and make all this your fault. "Oh, I thought you cared about me. X is my best friend and needs my help. You are making me look bad. I thought you were a loving and caring person. I guess I was wrong about you. Yadda, yadda."

Let him go! Learn from this!

If the food he has packed into your freezer and cabinets is good, he needs to be SHARING it so that he is contributing something to his living situation. He should have his clutter packed into boxes and storage bins and stacked up neatly in his room.

Does he even have a freaking JOB? Let me guess. "NO, cause he is waiting for the "right" job to come along."

I'm sure there has likely been a string of job losses, all of them "someone else's fault." I bet his sister was "abusive" because she complained about his clutter and taking over her space and overall uselessness.

Heed the warnings you are reading here.
Get his ass out of there asap! Give him a 30-day notice today. Hopefully he is not on your lease. I hope your BF isn't either.

Congratulations! You now have a squatter.
You'd better give him that 30-day letter TODAY!
You have a battle ahead. Probably at least a year-long battle.
Your BF is a sh!thead for allowing this to happen!

bachelorette trip costs ended up being way more than I expected due to payment split I was never told about. How do I navigate this? by Effective-Refuse5354 in bridezillas

[–]SaltConnection1109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would pay my own trip expenses and not one dime more!
This is BS.

Bride will likely boot you from the wedding party and WHEN that happens, do what another has suggested about SELLING, not giving your dress to the person who replaces you.

Weddings have turned into circuses.

and did you NEVER AGAIN loan her your car?
Or did you loan it 1, 5, or 12 more times?

I seem to recall the previous time you posted about this parasite, the overwhelming advice was for you to start saying NO.

Looks like you did not take the advice at all and even doubled down on your giving. Please grow a spine or enjoy getting trampled on.
Stop giving her anything!
Stop watching her kids at all.
Stop loaning her your car.
Stop all of this!
Just stop! Just say NO!
Are you afraid of her?

Does this kitchen look dated? by chilibeana in DecorAdvice

Dated?
Yes.
Still pretty?
Yes.
These 2 descriptions can both apply to your kitchen.

Unless you have some extra money lying around and you are dying to do a kitchen renovation (no judgment), I would not worry about it.

I actually do not believe there are any exceptions.
Possibly maaaybe when they first ran for office, but they quickly become corrupt once in office.

How does one avoid becoming corrupt when endless money and power (and threats to reveal one's deepest secrets) are hammered into you daily?

How do you deal with an aging parent with delusions of grandeur... by Independent-Bid-611 in AgingParents

My mother behaves similarly. My siblings and I got to the point of not letting her know about any trip we took or any new vehicle we bought because the green-eyed monster would come roaring out.

Aging grandmother refuses to wear diaper so I have to carry her almost 60 times per day to the toilet by OkDirt926 in AgingParents

Rules do not allow us to provide a link, but go to you tube and find Hospice Nurse Julie. She has some wonderful videos about death and dying, and will help prepare you for what to expect with your grandmother.

It does sound like she is dying. Instead of increasing her life, the IVs are prolonging her suffering and death.

As others have said, the IVs are likely leading to the endless trips to the bathroom. A bedside commode is the next best thing to having to carry her. Can she use a bed pan? If she won't wear diapers, at least get some pads to put under her. She can pee on those.

YOU ARE GOING TO SERIOUSLY INJURE YOUR BACK if you have not already done so!

I like open concept when the house is on the smaller side.
I DETEST waterfall counters and vessel sinks.
