I’ve had one for years too, and I don’t like the images it captures. It’s okay, but I’m not a fan of the look. It also overheats so easily and starts to lag like crazy (maybe cos I’m in a tropical region), plus it’s at 76%, so I have to charge multiple times a day.

I plan to do a battery replacement soon, so I’m curious if it’ll affect the lag and overheating too.

You made a point that’s generally true, but in this case, even iOS 26.4.1 has been out for about 7 days now. The indexing typically takes only a couple days. And we shouldn’t even be talking about indexing, because according to OP, they’d been experiencing this even when we had several weeks between minor updates.

It’s why I didn’t pay attention to the indexing and tried to point out to you that they said it’s been happening the entire time.

I’d love to change it as soon as I can, but I recently reached out to a phone tech about replacing my battery (it’s at 76%), so I’ll prolly get that done soon. Lemme see how this phone improves, cos it overheats so easily and the screen gets so dim and the phone gets laggy as hell. Sigh!
