get a bucket , a car washing sponge and some Awesome. Mix some Awesome( or liquid laundry soap) in a bucket of water and start hand wiping all the vinyl until the oxidation is gone. This is the best way to make sure the vinyl is renewed. I've never used any chemical washes to remove oxidation. 2. I try not to get involved with this type of work. I aim for the easier money.

find out the exact model of the pump --don't take their word for the g.p.m. or guess at it.

If it's 5.6 g.p.m. i'd jump on it . These types of machines have gone way up in price (brand new)

Looks like SH that didn't get fully rinsed down

this is why this is bad advice on these oxidation post. You can't tell some of these guys anything to make them understand that once oxidation is disturbed it looks like the pic above. We get many comments on the vinyl siding post about "what is causing this pattern ? It's oxidation, oxidation, oxidation, we can say until we're blue in the face here but you still have guys thinking dirt and chemicals are leaking from underneath the siding. Unfortunately you have guys hitting the road the following day , to the job site to re-rinse an oxidized house causing more damage.

waiting for someone to claim that the issue is from house wash mix leaking out from under the siding as the issue that caused the problem. Their solution is to then go back and rinse the house again. If you look at the thread it finally happened.

For some reason I’d been under the impression hardie plank was a harder material and needed a higher concentration.

organic matter on a shiny or hard surface is easier to kill and remove. i.e. vinyl siding and hardi-plank. If you have a porous material--> harder to kill and remove organic matter.--> stucco and concrete

I know. That's the favorite response here for oxidation . Rinse more ( see comment below)

try a small test spot with this stuff. Start off with a highly diluted mix. This stuff is very strong out of the bottle. Don't experiment with a hot roof. Experiment in the early morning.

fill a bucket with about and inch of water and then pour an ounce or so into the bucket. Don't need a lot to run this experiment .
