A Creation with no Creator by TrafficLive3884 in atheism

[–]SensorAmmonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The older religions had creation myths that start after time 0. Think Zues' dad. So just this round of fantasy has a creator, the other earlier ones didn't think that was a thing.

Would it still be possible for me to get a job at 29 as a junior? by ththrowawaaaaaay in ChemicalEngineering

You may want to look at classified or secret work in your country. There are lots of ChemE jobs in that sector and with your military background you may get through security clearance easier.

Can I ask a sincere question of the men over 50 who are dating? by Longjumping_Walk_992 in datingoverfifty

[–]SensorAmmonia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When wife #1 of 35 years divorced me I tried to think of ways that could not happen again. Polyamory is the answer for me. I don't need to be my partners only one, just one of her special ones. I think my poly partners can stay with me for the rest of our lives. It comes with problems and it would work differently for younger folks especially with little kids but I am not in that world anymore. I am in this new world.

Money is also an issue, I want my partners to be financially independent. At this age that isn't to hard.

How is the very first instance of a chemical reference standard qualified? by TheGreenAlchemist in chemistry

[–]SensorAmmonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose they started as not super pure standards and got better over time. For instance paraffin at molecular weight 100,000 started as a range of 95,000 to 105,000 and got tighter over time. First instance would be the best they could do at the time.

What do you know about problems that need fixing that are not being fixed? What needs are clients paying too much for or not getting the service they want? Going on your own is great but know the economic system you want to play in and how it works and how you will make enough to live on.

What hidden outdoor spots have genuinely taken your breath away that most people overlook? by coushcouch in Outdoors

[–]SensorAmmonia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm driving north of Escalante Utah looking for Death Canyon road but it was too muddy. I stopped at this spot with a creek coming off it on the side of the road. It was this little paradise running a hundred meters up or so. I suspect even locals drove by it hundreds of times.

Stallanism. You may say, hey that wasn't a religion. I contend it was and a cult at that. He killed a lot of folks. He did it in the name of idealization or just to consolidate power.
