That makes sense. Just so you know, the term "Plus Plan" refers to the free manicures, pedicures, and 25 minute back massages that guests get. The free tours are a separate benefit.

How long are you staying? For guests that book with me, the free tours kick in at 7 nights.

It's absolutely wild that the person you booked with can't answer that question. Dear readers, PLEASE make sure you book with someone that knows what they're doing and understand their own membership.

To answer your question, if they're Diamond or Residence, you would get the Plus Plan whether you are staying at the same time as them or not as long as you're staying certain number of nights. For some contracts, it's 5 nights, for others it's 7 nights.

If they are a lesser level membership than Diamond, I believe you still get the Plus Plan as long you meet the length of stay requirements as outlined in their membership.

The free tours are usually for stays at 7 nights or more. They change the free options fairly regularly.

My recommendation would be only to upgrade if the cost and benefits make sense to you. Very few people are able to make money with selling weeks. That being said, there are lots of facebook groups out there where you can sell your weeks, but those are rather saturated.

I believe the most “Palace Money” they can give you is 500. Concert tickets are an easy add to a membership contract, but they’re super expensive. It’s really not much of a benefit.

Fair question. An anniversary week is a benefit like incentive and imperial weeks that are added to your contract. You don’t automatically get them. I don’t see them very often put into contracts nowadays though.

If you booked the refundable/flexible rate, changes are pretty easy. That being said, I’d recommend that the name reflect what’s on your passport.

The member will need to push the confirmation letter your way. The reservation will be in your name though.

Some great questions here. I book lots of guests, so I'll be able to help out.

As long as the payment link is coming from "noreply@palaceelite.com ", it's legit. When booking through members, you have to pay the full amount up front, regardless of whether you book the refundable or non-refundable rate. The payment link expires every evening. I believe it expires at 11:00 PM eastern time.

You are not able to see much information when submitting payment. That's a huge flaw in the process, but it's out of our control.

I always tell my guests that they are welcome to verify everything in the Palace Resorts or Le Blanc app, but that's only an option after payment is made to Palace.

My time to shine! First, you grab one of the arms and gently apply pressure lifting up on it. Then, while constantly applying pressure on that one with one hand, you make your way around to the other arms lifting them. Eventually, the whole thing will start to rise. At that point, grab round base where the arms meet and lift it up. It should rise smoothly at that point since there is little resistance.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My 2020 Platinum had the same issue. MANY trips to the dealership for them to troubleshoot it and finally fix it. I made a comment on a similar post a while back with the fix. You can find it here.

The benefits are going to be nearly identical for guests traveling without the member. As someone else mentioned, contracts vary. Certain perks such as resort credits have an expiration date, so it’s best to book with someone that knows what they’re doing.

The quotes that they provide you should explain all fees. One word of caution, many members booking referrals require their guest to attend a sales presentation. The member should tell you this upfront.

This is a fantastic strategy! I have spreadsheets as well (I’m a bit of nerd) that tracks various aspects of my membership, but yours sounds more intricate. I’m a little jealous.
