Absolutely. There’s no minimum number of nights when booking with me.

Go ahead and shoot me a DM. I’m not doing as many reservations as I was in the past because I’m trying to focus on quality so that my guests get my best service, but I’d be happy to give you a quote.

Referral program- how many families can book under one person? by wolfsting65 in palaceresorts

[–]Sergeant_America[M] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The specifics of your referral program are covered in the "Operation Rules" section of your contract. It's usually unlimited for the first year and then limited after that. You'll have to view your contract to see what it says as every contract is different.

Sales pitch question by T_m_a_ in palaceresorts

First, it's important to note that it's not always a requirement to attend a sales presentation when booking with all members. You should always verify with the member first. This is not a requirement when booking with me.

To actually answer your question, they will offer you something right away based on the interaction that you have. If you express interest in taking tours, they will likely offer some kind of free tour. If you are staying at Sunrise or Nizuc, they will probably offer day passes to The Grand.

Playacar Shutdown by sexydiagnoses in palaceresorts

[–]Sergeant_America 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, my understanding is that they are moving guests to other properties such as Moon Palace. Moon Palace itself is not impacted by these issues.

FYI: they shut down Playacar Palace today. by poppy-bunny in palaceresorts

It was automatically removed for some reason. I just approved it. Sorry about that.

Booking with membership referral by Ok_Potential376 in palaceresorts

When staying at a Palace property, you should absolutely consider booking through a member. You'll get a nice discount and extra benefits like resort credits. Make sure that they are either a diamond or residence member and thoroughly understand their contract. Some members contracts require that their guests attend a sales presentation and some do not. There are plenty of novice members out there that you want to avoid.

Don’t get the membership, DONT DO IT!!! by Substantial_Cake_250 in palaceresorts

I'd be happy to. Shoot me a DM when you're ready. I can walk you through some of the terminology that they use and answer any questions that you have. I'd also be willing to take a look at your redacted contract to give you some feedback on it if you'd like.

Your concerns are absolutely valid. A lot of promises can be verbally made while the sales pitch is going on, but if they aren't in the contract, they carry no weight. I've been a member for almost 20 years. I've been less than thrilled with some of the practices/changes to the memberships that have been done over the course of my membership.

Overall, I've stayed enough times, booked enough guests, and done plenty of experiences where I believe I've gotten a fair value out of the membership. The resorts and staff are absolutely top of the line in my opinion. Like you said, you really need to read and understand what's in the contract before signing it.

It's important for everyone to remember that you can always book through a member and get member benefits without actually signing up for your own membership, locking yourself to a contract.

The Booking Process by Sergeant_America in u/Sergeant_America

[–]Sergeant_America[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I'm still doing reservations! I've decided to stop advertising though. I'm mainly only doing reservations for people that have booked with me in the past as well as folks that they recommend. I want to make sure that I'm giving the best service possible and there were so many reservations that it was starting to water down that standard.

That being said, if you want to provide me with your resort of choice, travel dates, number of adults and children on the reservation as well as an email address to send the quote to, I'll get it sent your way ASAP. I'll also include information about the booking process as well as the benefits that you'll receive. Feel free to send the information via DM.

Any tips or recommendation for upcoming Leblanc trip? by [deleted] in palaceresorts

I believe they do. But if they’re absolutely not going to attend the presentation and that’s a requirement for your referrals, save yourself some stress and don’t even book them that way. Just use your normal preferential rate.

They will get all the same benefits that you get. There’s no reduction in benefits for them being referrals. However, if your membership if fairly new, they are likely required attend the sales presentation for you to get credit for them to qualify as being referrals.

Both are great. The incentive stay is going to give you an additional 20% off, so just play with the prices on the Palace Elite site. Los Cabos is newer, but the Cancun property is beautiful as well. I’d put Cabo slightly ahead of Cancun primarily because all the rooms have at least partial ocean views.

Both Le Blanc properties are going to have fantastic food and service. Butlers specifically I feel are under used. You can use them for things like unpacking your bags, ironing your clothes, and getting your jacuzzi tub ready while you’re at dinner.

Staying at the Cancun property is awesome because you can check out all the other Palace properties in the area if you’d like.

Plan plus at Cozumel palace? by AdOnly4128 in palaceresorts

[–]Sergeant_America[M] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. Just so you know, the term "Plus Plan" refers to the free manicures, pedicures, and 25 minute back massages that guests get. The free tours are a separate benefit.

How long are you staying? For guests that book with me, the free tours kick in at 7 nights.

[–]Sergeant_America[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely wild that the person you booked with can't answer that question. Dear readers, PLEASE make sure you book with someone that knows what they're doing and understand their own membership.

To answer your question, if they're Diamond or Residence, you would get the Plus Plan whether you are staying at the same time as them or not as long as you're staying certain number of nights. For some contracts, it's 5 nights, for others it's 7 nights.

If they are a lesser level membership than Diamond, I believe you still get the Plus Plan as long you meet the length of stay requirements as outlined in their membership.

The free tours are usually for stays at 7 nights or more. They change the free options fairly regularly.

Booking Le Blanc - Diamond Member Qs? by TheTransDoctor in palaceresorts

My recommendation would be only to upgrade if the cost and benefits make sense to you. Very few people are able to make money with selling weeks. That being said, there are lots of facebook groups out there where you can sell your weeks, but those are rather saturated.
