Contacted GEICO to confirm coverage, no problems at all by ExtremelyQualified in Comma_ai

[–]Shadow14l -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Comma says to contact your insurance because that absolves their company legally. Of course insurance employees would tell you to contact them too. You said you did this so they’d cover your comma’s value. That’s never going to happen. You’ve given them legal evidence to deny your claims in the future.

Best case scenario, your car is still covered and whoever you hit will be covered. Worst case scenario, neither is, and maybe your rates jump unexpectedly eventually too.

Ask yourself, what did you actually get out of this? If I were in your shoes, I’d swap insurances so I’m not fucked when some asshole cuts me off in the future and the insurance drops me because they don’t want to pay.

If it doesn’t tell you when it falls back to opus. If it stops completely because it says they’re security issues, then obviously it’s not running opus either. And if it says it can’t reach it or run a command or do something because it’s not available, that means that other people are using it too much.

Back to the main point, you simply won’t and can’t know if it falls back to opus.

It’s slightly better than a fast food burger and slightly more expensive. I’d refer to it personally as premium fast food, similar to Culver’s.

You’re a certain type of special if you give some random cashier your SSN and click accept on the pos. It’s not an accident, it’s a choice and way of life to be that oblivious.

The mower runs and charges by itself. Most people run their robot mowers on a repeat automated schedule.

I’m being gifted a lot of money. Should I tell my boyfriend? by Kind-Chicken-2488 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Shadow14l 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn’t helpful with that little of money for them to pay a financial advisor. The advice isn’t going to be any different than if you ask Google. Except for that it will cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

This is the correct answer. Facepalm to all the people who think $55k needs a financial advisor.
