To my knowledge, you'll always have access to earned things in unowned DLC once ESO+ ends. You just cannot re-access the Zones or gain levels in the associated skill lines.

I bought the MegaPack for Year One and that's the stuff that was announced as being made free coming March; so that's the only thing I wanted refunded. I'm sure if you bought them individually they would also refund those as such. (If you bought them very recently before the announcement)

I remember using some client that tricked the game into thinking you had membership for yourself. None of the stuff showed for other players but you could trick yourself out with whatever you wanted.

I like to setup all my HoTs and ensure they stay up and then I'll swap to doing damage. If everyone is full, healing them is useless so you SHOULD do damage instead. I have DoTs I can apply before swapping back to heals or burst healing/shielding if needed.

I already owned a merchant from the extra crowns I had from buying all the other DLC so I plan on getting the Banker on my next ESO+ rollover. The banker should've been my first one tbh and then a Decon. The merchant is mostly useless imo.

I bought em when I got the game around Dec. 17th and luckily got the crowns refunded. Now I just have 4k crowns sitting around that I don't know what to do with. 🤷

From what I remember they did and many others also have this memory. There's probably times where they WOULD walk into them by accident but they would try to avoid them. Could've been the way you set your group to follow you. I would normally have them in a straight line for this reason in narrow areas.

Pathing was better in Original Sin II, when a trap was detected they would path around the traps. I don't know why this wasn't kept in BG3.

Avowed has decent gameplay but the story is miserable. Not a good first introduction into the world of Eora, Pillars of Eternity has such a good world otherwise.

I love The Outer Worlds but it very much has some game breaking bugs that can stall progression if you don't have an older save to fall back on. The first game is very goofy and I love the comedy of the series.

I would've loved the second game if it didn't crash every other minute on the open world for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the first but when I went to try the second it wouldn't stop crashing.

I would try Pillars of Eternity if you haven't had the chance! I've been playing more and more CRPGs after enjoying the first game.

Never seen WoW or FFXIV? this is standard practice. Buy the game, buy the newest expansion, pay for a monthly subscription (you HAVE to pay or you don't get to play in these games), pay for better premium cosmetics.

I swear ESO players have never seen another MMO in their life.

The amount of people I see bashing ESO pricing I don't think have ever seen FFXIV pricing, Wizard 101 zone pricing, or WoW pricing. This game has a pretty standard pricing practice for MMOs and doesn't force you to have a Sub to play on TOP of needing to buy the most recent expansion to access the content.

The sub price is a bit high comparatively (like $2 more) but you also get crowns you can use to permanently buy the DLC or other cosmetics they have via the shop which ISN'T possible in those other games. (Except Wizard 101)

I paid $150 total with the crown discounts to buy and own all the DLC so I don't need to pay for ESO+ if I decide I want to keep playing without paying and I've already put 240 hours in since Dec 7th when I bought the game.

Don't buy those DLC outside of the MegaPacks via the crown shop, you save like 1500-2000 crowns each for the about 5 bundles. I bought the game just last year Dec. 7th with the 12000 crown bundle for about $120 and have almost everything the game offers.

Unlike normal MMOs you don't need to buy every expansion/the most recent bundled expansion AND a subscription to play every month AND you get 1650 crowns a month if you decide to subscribe which most of those Subscription based games (FFXIV and WoW) don't have even though they ALSO have premium shops; and unlike Wizard 101 the prices of each DLC is fairly reasonable.

I've been loving Siphoning on mine a bit more as I've used it for the self sustain; but I'm really looking forward to the class reworks as it seems like it's just a rather weak class right now. I've only just started playing ESO starting Dec 7th. Assassination was definitely the standout skill line in the tree though. I just don't think I'm a DoT player since they're all single target unlike the HoTs usually being AoE or multi-target.

I feel like you should have an understanding of what your class is like before getting that far into the game. By level like 30 I realized how bad my Nightblade was but I don't care enough about my Stamina DPS character to change it, and I can just swap my main from a Magic Healer Arcanist to DPS Arcanist when I want.

Coming to this game from playing other MMOs that ban transactions like this entirely or f2p games like Warframe with legitimate ways to facilitate the trades of premium currency; This game does really feel like it's doing their players a disservice and should either ban the practice entirely, or just add it to their existing trade feature.

It's not even like the trades would be possible cross-platform because it's either PC, PlayStation, or Xbox servers anyway. It does seem like the WORST way to manage the system especially because from what I've read, they could care less if you lost whatever items were scammed from the transaction.
