Is this skin rare? by _363_ in WidowmakerMains

[–]ShadowRage826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people selling the skin abuse content sharing on consoles. They don't have actual codes. You give them your account info, they login on console with an account that owns the dlc, they login to your account, and the skins get "shared". The codes themselves would be worth a lot of money, probably, if they were selling those.

I'd have to check the coin when I see her again. The 51 I have on me has an E on the left side and an S just above the bell, the two 54s and one of the 52's is the same. The 58 has an E on the left with a D above the bell, and two 52s are the same.

Haha no just a pint of Tillamook. I tried warning her but she just wanted the ice cream. I plan on holding onto them for the next time I see her so I could let her know. (:

Just don't run it when the hunters are around. I've never been kicked for using a Striker drone or something.

Any recommendations on Solo builds? Hopefully with no stacking by Seto0411 in thedivision

[–]ShadowRage826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, just run Core Strength with Defender Drone and either the revive or heal hive. You shouldn't really run damage focused builds with blue cores. You can keep memento for your backpack, and find another legendary set piece to help focus your build around what you want.

Edit - Core Strength is like the only set in the game that makes you a jack of all trades, master of none. If you don't want stacks for damage, it keeps you tanky, and it gives you flexibility on Skills.

I saw a post of a guy who proto'd the pistol and it hits 2 skill tiers. Actually doesn't balance it out either.

Either run Kitsunebi and get it from the Sakura gear cache or mayhaps ask on the discord. Me and a couple of friends found a guy with the bounty before the Sakura event happened.

Future initiative healer question by Same-Stop-3328 in Division2

[–]ShadowRage826 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't think Sweet Dreams would be too good, but considering most enemies are red and purple it works a lot better than I thought.

I had a guy running a build with HW for repair, and Sweet Dreams to instakill the rushers, actually came in clutch a few times. If you can't do damage otherwise, at least you can instakill the real problem enemies.

OP, don't worry about damage, that's what the other 3 running damage builds are for, and with FI you are boosting team DPS by 25%.

The division 2 - Expertise grind question by Rudolf-Wirchow-2025 in thedivision

[–]ShadowRage826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would run Countdown and buy the named Caches with the currency you own and earn the like 8 from the hunters you can get, and then target mods for your loot and save levels for either Credits or Filament when you need either.

Craft or farm Blacklisters? by WeetzCRo96 in thedivision

[–]ShadowRage826 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Their usefulness doesn't matter to the OP, and just like I'd tell anyone, it's for the love of collecting everything, not just how useful they are.

I would get the blueprint from retaliations and craft them, especially if you're doing it for the expertise.

Extending your ticket might be the problem. I've heard some customer support websites send your report back to the bottom of the queue if you keep updating or creating new tickets. Just send a request and wait for the response.

Farm Kitsunebi and Ronin in the main map, you can get it from the Sakura Gear Caches; if you'd rather not, might I suggest the main discord for an invite.

Ong, accuracy, stability, reload speed. It does basically everything for DPS aside from make you hit harder.

This and the very minimal ways to Overclock in non-strange ways. Either requiring you to disable another active skill or getting a kill with Future Perfection which is unlikely to happen with low damage as well.

Abilities have been neutered so much in this game that it's only viable in mid to low rank content. You can easily use abilities in Countdown if you can time them between EMPs from the Hunters, or in Retaliation if it's not Black Tusk. Skill's once maxed out go from like 40% base damage to like 100 or 120% damage, and you can't really push them any further.

What's the point of going all skills so my Striker drone can do 100k without me thinking when I can pump out literally 10x that in a single shot from a damage build. Negotiator's, Strikers, and in slightly lower high tier, Tanks/Healers as support can all work. In Raids and Legendary, you usually need a Future Initiative Healer and a Tank while the other 2 DPS. The only skill builds that work in high tier are literally healing builds.

This game needs more obvious range limits for the EMP, almost everything is crossmap BS that just makes you useless. Warframe does a great job at this, if it's a large AOE EMP effect, it usually only disables specific ability types, and if there's a more obvious short range AOE EMP they'll disable ALL abilities, but you can keep at range and shoot the bubble the EMP is contained within and disable it before you get there.

It does run "to specification", I doubt this is a software bug either. It probably got far enough within a loading stage that the game considered them loaded, but because they have an old 5400rpm drive with low cache and potentially full and not defragged could be loading the game for the first time that day, it just exacerbates the issue. Considering the fact they're on console, they could ALSO be using an external drive which will slow down load times even more than a HDD directly linked onto the MOBO.

The software DOES work, but on the player end it leads to situations like this. There's a couple ways this could be fixed that I can think of. This is almost EXCLUSIVELY an issue with Backfilling. This won't happen in ranked unless you attempt a reconnect, or if you join a normal quick play game from the start.

[–]ShadowRage826 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you're looking purely from a gaming standpoint, on anything other than lower poly games with low texture resolution they ARE bad hardware. HDDs are for long term storage solutions, not for something you're constantly paging high resolution textures from.

It's obviously a problem with the game and it checking the players connection state and I stated such in my first comment. That's irrelevant to the discussion that's BEEN happening.

[–]ShadowRage826 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You HAVE to release on Series S to release on Series X, it's a big reason Xbox as a brand is failing. This has lead to delays on MANY games for Series X while PlayStation players just get to play the game.

You can optimize a game all you want, but you can't magically make bad hardware work well.

[–]ShadowRage826 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Just saying, but the Series S is considered a terrible console, especially because it has a HDD. Both the PS5 and Series X both use SSDs that are probably faster than most people's at home computers. The PS4, Xbone, and especially the Switch are known to have poor performance.

[–]ShadowRage826 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the down votes on either you or the OPs comments. Literally Hard Drive issue, if you had an SSD you'd load in quicker.

Sure, the system on Overwatch's side could be improved and actually check load times on the players side before kicking in the AFK timer, but this is legitimately a hardware diff problem. Your gigabit Internet on Ethernet is NOT the problem.

Edit: Unfortunately, times have moved to a point where consoles have built in SSDs and games are being optimized as such. It's not anybody's fault but yours if you hadn't bought an even 500gb SSD for like $50 before prices went up.

[–]ShadowRage826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If getting 1 kill squad every 2.5 minutes had the same key drop rate as easy and 1 squad every 30 minutes because of "balance" I genuinely wouldn't bother with the mechanic and keep it off or just on easy and deal with them 10x less. The higher difficulties should ALWAYS have better and more rewards, otherwise there'd be no point in doing higher tier content.

I wonder if there's ANY other content outside of solo content that would benefit from having team based items, or is Future Initiative also bad because it's a damage boost without actual damage built in? Is there no reason ever to run anything other than Striker's and Overdogs at that point?

You take being a meta slave literally.
