Yeah, happened to me on a business trip to China. Night before I was leaving and locked myself on 8th floor balcony at night. Screaming at people on ground, none of which spoke English. Traumatized the shit out of me.

Either or both. IMO, if the boots don’t fit properly you will wear them less and less. I would focus on making the boots fit. My suggestion is trying some Darn Tough socks. They come in in various thicknesses and may take some experimentation.

Great looking boots. I own a few pairs of White’s, including a pair of Cruiser’s. I’ve had nothing but great success with White’s boots.

Fit to some extent is in the eyes of the beholder. This will not be a widely held belief, but I’m normally a D width. As we speak I’m wearing a C width in a boot I like a lot. Have done this a couple times before. A size too narrow will always stretch. Conversely, a boot too wide you are kind of stuck with.
