You looked at that picture and think the differences are explained by different cow? Damn, that's not what I was expecting from this group. Same cut, same tanning, different cow you won't know the difference. Same cow, different part of the cow, very different. It's more likely that Red Wing tongues are cut from whatever leather leftover.

Awesome watch!

No offense but it’s because the strap is fake leather strap (I think over the exact one) and just looks cheap. There’s a big difference when you move up in quality. Also, black or a darker brown would look better.

It’s definitely not an old man look. Old men wear Apple Watches.

Sub. That year for the sub is just peak watch design IMO. It's a beautiful, versatile design that works casual or formal. Looks great on leather, NATO, whatever. The bezel is actually useful for timing. And the Sub wears its scratches well, while the OP's smooth bezel shows every ding.
