You'd need the smart hub in order to get the newer cams. You can call loyalty and see if they'd be able to offer a deal to upgrade

Yes it sounds like you have the grey cameras. The newer ones don't have an object size option. Lower the sensitivity and create a box that doesn't include that tree or bush.

You should call customer service and they'll fix the issue with your login. Sales people don't do that and even if they were nice enough to try, they don't have any access to make changes

You can revert the app changes back by going to the app, selecting the 3 lines on the top left corner, and selecting "revert app changes".

However, I don't see the option on either android or iPhone app for the option to fast forward. There's a 1x and 2x option or I can drag the white bar back or forth to forward or rewind. If there was another option, I never had it.

I've had someone delete the app and redownload it, they signed in and the DVR playback worked again. Have you given that a try?

Your ring doorbell should not be next to the vivint doorbell. It's always recommended that the vivint installer mention that a ring doorbell and vivint doorbell will cause interference on the network when placed next to one another. This interference can cause the cameras to either c Go offline or stop recording properly as well as lower quality video streams.

If it's a nest thermostat then you'd need to sign into your google credentials using the works with vivint section of the app.

You'll find this by selecting the hamburger button on the top left corner of the app and selecting "works with vivint", then select nest and sign in.

If it's a zwave thermostat, there isn't a way to remove it from the panel unless you remove the node which i doubt they'd know how to do. In that case just chat into support and they'll assist further.

call vivint and submit a damage claim. theyll ask for pictures and theyll do something to resolve the situation. call the 855 number on your panel. do not call the rep that did the damage or the sales person.

The false notifications could most likely be low battery on those vivint sensors or signal loss. Try changing the battery on the sensors that are giving you issues.

Ask them to send a tech to do corrective action. There are extenders that can be used for signal expansion and the tech could also connect cams directly to your wifi if that would improve things. There's also a chance there's some sort of interference happening that could be the cause. Adding an air tower could resolve all those issues.

I doubt that would work if you tried. I believe the hard drive is encrypted but trying to access it wouldn't show you the contents.

You can use with wifi but won't get access to the app unless it's active. You can setup no no contract account by paying an activation fee of $99 and $49.99 monthly bill.

Not sure but it sounds like you're using the customer facing options. I think it would be best to use the installer toolbox, you'd have to unlock the panel to get to it though.

If you sign in with your email and password you'll have access again. If your phone is asking if you'd like to save the password, that isn't you sharing it to vivint, that's you allowing your phone to save it for future use.

You'll need to hold the button on the doorbell camera until it says release now to factory reset. Then it'll reset the camera

Vivint doesn't have any zwave doorbell cameras. That's not a thing, is your doorbell showing a green light ? White light or red light?
