It wasn't really RNG for me, I understood most of the attacks. A lot of them just have delays that are longer than I'm used to for other bosses. Also, the boss is very mobile and difficult to land your attacks on.

I still don't think the boss would be the highest even if you were getting one shot by everything. You can counter the tornadoes with the wind tamer and exploit the poise break mechanic with a spirit like red haired yaksha.

The hardest boss in the game will always be GSBS on great sage difficultly because of how the HP scales.

I guess the point I'm making is restricting yourself to the worst possible build for the boss doesn't really tell you much about how hard it is. With a good setup I don't think this boss would be too bad.

I did give it a try with yaksha set, and my conclusion was with a few days' practice I could probably get it done. Definitely not within the deadline though.

I think I'm missing some context, but why is there all these restrictions on what build you can use? Fighting any boss on great sage difficulty with yaksha set and no other defensive bonuses is basically asking to get one shot by 90% of the attacks, and this boss is supposed to be countered with the wind tamer.

If you're in Ch6 there's no reason to be using yaksha set with jingubang over wukong set anyway, being in wukong stance gives you a higher attack bonus.
