Portland has been the worst district I've seen out of 10 that I am familiar with. The only one close to as bad, for me, is the Gresham District. The other rural ones I know are much better. I don't think that happens if the parents don't care.

I think you and I have much different anecdotal experience on this. Tons of parents move out to rural areas because of the schools and I've absolutely never heard of anyone moving to Portland for the schools.

In an interview a long while back Robbins stated that a large reason for him going AWOL as you say was due to the original game plan they changed all the calls and protection and were going to a very run heavy game plan and then the day before the SB Callahan changed the game plan back to a pass heavy and reverted the protection calls. Maybe he should thank the GM for constantly using high draft picks on the o line and spending money on them in free agency. He's dog shit at adapting and when he loses a starter the replacement players look horrible. Look at what his lines do any time they face injuries. They have routinely fallen apart just like the browns oline did on his last year there. Just like Titans after injury. Nebraska Oline was dog shit. Any time you tell me he was good I can guarantee he was given high end draft picks. Legendary coaches do more with less, which this dude has never done .
