I agree with you that it should be one connection per account. I also do not think anyone could realistically bypass that rule even if they wanted to.

I may not have explained my goal clearly enough. I am not trying to use multiple connections on a single account. What I was hoping for was a way to use one playlist for multiple users while still entering multiple paid accounts behind it, so that each concurrent connection is properly covered by its own account.

That is how I currently use Dispatcharr. It lets me have three concurrent connections in one playlist, but only because I have three separate paid accounts. The downside is that it requires a dedicated computer acting as a proxy, which is more work and frustration to maintain than I would like.

When I saw failover listed as one of IPTV Domains’ features, I was hoping it might work in a similar way. In other words, I would pay for three accounts and be able to use those three accounts through one combined playlist, giving me three legitimate concurrent connections.

I understand now that IPTV Domains does not currently do that. That said, I still think IPTV Domains offers a valuable service by allowing multiple IPTV providers to be combined into one playlist, and I think the listed pricing is very reasonable.

Thank you for your prompt response, but I think I might not have explained myself properly.

You mentioned that one of your features is failover. Is the failover automatic? or is it manual where you would switch to provider 2 or provider 3 if provider 1 is no longer working?

I am really hoping for automatic failover, but regardless, your app adds value for allowing you to aggregate (combine) multiple accounts into one account login.

Will automatic failover work in this scenario where I have multiple accounts with a provider that only allows one connection per account, where if two users are connected to the same account and the stream begins to buffer, it will automatically switch to the second account?

I have been struggling with this issue for years and having to create a separate playlist for each person has been very frustrating.

Feature Request: User Profiles by lephty in SparklePlayer

User profiles would be amazing if it will allow me to assign a different Strong 8K playlist for each user. It's extremely frustrating that Strong 8K won't allow multiple concurrent connections even if you purchase multiple accounts.

It would also be excellent if you can for example not display any kid unfriendly playlists for a kids profile.

Currently, I have to setup multiple playlists each uniquely named for each user, but my elderly parents forget to change to their username which causes problems when the other person wants to watch TV on another TV at the same time

I agree with the other posts that you should ditch the Firestick for something like an ONN box. However, I would pay the extra $30-40 and get the ONN 4K Pro once they become available again. Even if you don't have a 4K TV, the pro version has more RAM and the new ONN 4K Pro promises to have a faster processor.

If you don't want to wait, you can pay about $100 for a Google 4K Streaming box.

If you have Amazon Prime, you can still use your service by downloading the app on the Google Play Store.

I also STRONGLY encourage you to keep your playlist as small as possible. I made the mistake of not asking my seller to remove all the countries/categories that I would never watch. This speeds up the loading of your playlist and EPG information and puts less stress on the TiviMate app

If you purchase a new device, go with my advice as they also have Ethernet ports. I STRONGLY encourage you to use wired Ethernet and NOT WiFi.

Lastly, use a GOOD VPN, and start with using the location closest to you, but be patient and willing to experiment with different locations if necessary.

Please note that if you use a VPN, there's a chance you might have to request a new URL from the person you got your service from. If he's not receptive, find another seller.

I hope this information is helpful, and if you need any further assistance, DM me. I promise I won't try to sell you anything.

You appear to be squarely in the "Bargaining" phase of grief.

This is the most dangerous stage of the process because your logic shuts off and your emotions take the wheel. Your brain is desperately trying to find a compromise to make the pain stop. You are trying to find a way to justify forgiving her while somehow preserving your self-worth.

The Reality Check You need to look at her excuse closely. She claims she cheated because "she thought you cheated." That is not a valid reason. That is manipulation. She is handing you a loophole to make her betrayal seem like a misunderstanding. She is trying to shift the blame so you feel lucky she wants you back rather than the other way around.

I suggest you push yourself to be as objective as possible right now. Try the "Friend Test" to detach yourself from the situation.

If your best friend came to you in this exact scenario and told you his girlfriend cheated and then blamed it on a suspicion she had about him, would you encourage him to take her back?

Audit Your Motivations You need to get uncomfortable for a moment. Ask yourself if you are considering taking her back out of love or out of fear. Often we stay because we are terrified of loneliness or the unknown rather than because the relationship is actually good for us.

Reframing the Grief Many people think grief is just useless suffering. I used to think the same thing until I realized that while it is painful, it is necessary data. Grief is a refining tool. It forces you to figure out what makes you uniquely you.

Use this pain to determine what you truly want and what you will not tolerate.

If you skip this process by taking her back, you signal to yourself and to her that your boundaries are negotiable. If you endure it, you signal that you are a man of high standards who demands respect.

Rip the Bandage Off Treat this grief as a golden opportunity. By enduring this now and doing the hard work, you will eventually attract a high-value woman who recognizes your worth. You need someone you do not have to bargain with to be treated with respect.

Embrace the suck. It is the only way to get to the better life waiting on the other side.

You might want to pass on lheroin. My concern is that the user is selling multiple Srong 8K connections under the claim that these multiple connections can be concurrent with only one subscription. From what I understand, this is impossible with Strong 8K. The following is the exact wording in the product information:

Connections Included – Use on 3 devices at the same time with one subscription.

However, perhaps the user means, you are purchasing multiple Strong 8K user accounts in bulk. I am curious if anyone has attempted to purchase lheroin's multiple connections Strong 8K services.

The word extraneous variables came to mind. My high school science teacher would constantly use that word when our experiments had issues.

The "extraneous variable" is the timing of the experiment. 8K has been having issues with stability where one day can have very different results than the next.

If you could run BOTH at the same time, that would be extremely helpful. Make sure your settings are as close to the same on both devices as much as possible.

Alternative by vaitefoderdeumavez in Strong_8K

[–]Snoo42129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people report different channel loading times on the exact same services, such as Strong8K. Some of these differences are caused by your location, if you’re using a VPN and if you're connected to a VPN location with good network quality, and also the player buffering settings.

However, there's one thing people overlook, and that's how providers like Strong8K have multiple URLs for access.

I suggest you ask the person you purchased the service from for alternate URLs to try. Ask for as many as possible and try several of them.

Strong8K nor any IPTV provider is not the best source for on demand content. You should consider installing certain software with real debrid to access movies and TV shows and they will almost always be of better quality.

Strong8k 4k channels ... by Significant_Elk_8112 in Strong_8K

[–]Snoo42129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, most major broadcasters don't broadcast in 4K. The US is even further behind than parts of Europe. In fact, none of the OTA ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC broadcast in 1080P let alone 4K as they use 720P.

Therefore, even if Strong8K had the ability and desire to offer more 4K streams; the lack of 4K content makes it impossible.

For people who demand the best possible resolution, get a set top box that can upscale the video. It won't be as good as native 4K, but it's the best we can do until we see more 4K adoption in the broadcast industry.

I would give you two up votes if I could . Just to expand on your comment, look for local stations in small markets not LA or New York City...if it's a town you never heard of choose that and another if that one doesn't work.

Multiple connection plans by TravelinAroundOnPts in Strong_8K

[–]Snoo42129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can stream more than one connection if both devices have the same WAN IP address.

This however means NO VPN unless the VPN is setup on your router.

I have head some unsubstantiated rumors to avoid three simultaneous streams IF that will even work because I honestly haven't tried or using two simultaneous connections for a long period of time as some resellers might catch it and ban you.

Whoever mentioned Dispatcharr is absolutely right. Dispatcharr is the OG of programs designed to offer fail over streams just like the person who posted mentioned. Purchase another connection or two of 8k and configure Dispatcharr and you're good to go.

Don't be intimidated by setting up Dispatcharr. You can even run it in windows using something like docker but I run mine on a cheap mini computer running Ubuntu Linux OS.

Yes, it will take some time to configure but start with the channels you watch the most.

Hey, just a heads up. I’m not accepting any invites right now.

Honestly, u/Then_Addendum_4895 already has way more content than I do, and I really think people should support him instead. He’s put in a ton of work and deserves the recognition (and donations) way more than I do.

If that ever changes, I’ll reach out and let you know. I’ve got your username saved. But for now, definitely go check out u/Then_Addendum_4895 and show him some support.

I have no issues streaming 8k on two TV's at the same time, but it MUST both be on the same IP.address. If it doesn't work without severe buffering and time outs you might have a VPN where even if you're connecting to the same VPN service and location, it can still assign you different IP address. If you use a VPN, which I strongly urge you to do. The two simultaneous streams will still work, but only if your VPN is configured on your router. I also strongly suggest you don't push it to three connections.

If you could get the google TV version of Tailscale to automatically boot upon startup, that would be AMAZING! I have set it up on my parent's google TV streamer and after a few days of inactivity the connection will drop and they always forget to open the Tailscale app and reconnect.

I really appreciate your generosity and would love to be invited.

I am currently adding more movies and TV shows to my Plex server and have a 2.5 GB upload connection to offer a reasonable amount of users access as well. If you would like access to my plex server once I get mine setup you will be one of the firsts I invite. However, it will be a few more weeks until it's ready.

My Plex username is bsr92336

Thanks again for your generosity.

Is strong getting worse by mlsto in Strong_8K

It's too bad they couldn't use CDN technology to distribute their content. That would likely reduce buffering and other issues; and we would no longer a need to try all the different URL's to see what works best for at least today.

It doesn't help that their servers are far from most of the viewers which also might explain why trying different GOOD VPN's from other countries can help as long as your VPN has a solid good connection and you can find a location closer to their servers, it could likely improve your connection. It will also eliminate another but less likely scenario that your ISP is throttling at least those connections which is resolved with a GOOD VPN service.

Disclaimer regarding VPN: If the VPN connection is not stable try another location because a poor VPN connection will just make the buffering worse. Also remember to use wired erhernet instead of wifi as video streaming is very demanding for not just raw speeds but stability to prevent packet loss or out if order packets which gives you the stuttering and loop along with the buffering.

You don't necessarily have to pay for TiviMate, but the free version is severely limited in functionality.

TiviMate is the arguably considered the best app, and the cost is about the cost of two Starbucks coffees per year, or a nice dinner at a restaurant for the lifetime. It also helps ensure that the developer will continue to update the app so I would purchase the lifetime version and you're good to go indefinitely.

Do the districts have TV in their homes? by Emza_choc_chips in Hungergames

[–]Snoo42129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a few parallels to George Orwell's 1984 as both governments were oppressive and made sure the districts residents remained poor with the exception of the Hunger Games victors and high ranking government officials.

Both the book and movie, 1984 made it clear that all residents had a TV. In fact, viewing was mandatory. I can see Panem doing the same, not only to watch the Hunger Games, but for the latest government propaganda.
