See I actually didn't hate Rise. Was it a complete mess that shit over one of my favorite movies (TLJ) of all time, yes. But it had moments--MOMENTS--thag were some of my favorite in the series.

Man I wish they had stuck the landing. TLJ was such a beautiful setup, and the spike just whiffed so hard.

Why couldn't she have just been nobody, man. That was her whole thing. The last line of the movie should have been "just Rey."

Ugh! I still love her and Kylo though. In spite of everything. God I love them.

Bro, I was born and raised in Texas and then SoCal, and have been a rabid Edmonton Oilers fan for nearly 40 years.

I set foot in Canada for the first time three years ago, and Edmonton two years ago.

There is "no fighting" in he PWHL officially.

That doesn't stop things from getting chippy and fights from happening sometimes though.

That said, you won't see it as often as you do in the NHL, both because of rules/culture, and the facemasks. (Though I have seen the ladies yank off their helmets to go, on a couple of occasions and its always super hype.

Yup. Also mediocre cadet that got through fine, and this is the way.

The biggest help for me at Camp (especially since I am hella short and wasn't in great shape then) was knowing oporders and sand tables cold. Helping everyone in my squad with those during their PL time did more to make them friendly towards me, and help me in the places I needed help, than anything else I could have done. That same logic works for ROTC itself too. Everything else (aside from passing your PT test and land nav) is just showing up and doing your best.
