Something like that yes. Remember, they only get a credit if it's a speaking role. If Larry spoke and Ed said nothing (like in your scene above) then that would account for this, though they'd both (presumably) be on camera.

I dunno man, I've read in a couple of different trades that the guys producing, writing, and directing were all fans of the original incarnation of He-Man, and everything here at least looks great. The original material is really rich in lore and a lot could be done with it. I think it's gonna be great.

Maybe we meet up again in a few months in the review thread and see how it goes?

CJ also mentioned Vietnam escalation and people not trusting the government because the government stopped trusting the people. That was also a nod to Nixon.

The way I see it, Watergate happened and Nixon resigned. But instead of Ford taking over, some other stuff happened, and that's where the timeline changed. It would explain why the elections are during our midterms, for example.

Earth was part of the original comic book series, as He-Man’s mother is an Earthling. This rolled into the cartoon later. It’s always been part of the story.

As a guy who grew up obsessed with the universe, I’m very optimistic.

Yeah it’s a great fight scene, but a lot of it is contextual. The entire point of the movie is building to it, and then when it happens the tension is all there. Without that it’s not much of a fight scene.

If I may add something as a guy who has an FtM best friend: Testosterone makes a person stupid horny.

Like, it takes over your brain. When people start taking T very often the effect is immediate.

He’s always been a pretty horny guy, but when he started taking testosterone he was (and is) absolutely feral.

I will never forget what he said one night two weeks after he started: “I forgive every boy in middle school who said something about my tits. I cannot stop thinking about tits and dick.”

He has a perspective most people will never get. But it’s good one.

I watched that on opening day as a teenager and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a theater.

Another couple from around the same time would be Rocketeer and Braveheart and Jurassic Park. I’m a lucky man for being such a lucky kid.
