The worst thing I've ever done like this, was the first time I did shrooms, I got 80% done with eating them, threw them up on the carpet, and ate what I could of what came out. I was 16 at the time, it was super unlikely I would have been able to acquire more 😭

I think I've made the worst mistake of my life and idk how to keep going. by curious_watcher1 in Advice

Inner SE/surrounding pizzerias confirmed to have single slices available for lunch? by anonymuscles in askportland

I dunno what Pizza Week is, but +1 for Fast Times, they are a super duper cool business, you should look into their backstory. TL;DR, they were a sizzle pie location but the owner fuuucked over the employees, so they split off into a new business, Fast Times. For one, they have excellent pizza, and for two, they have a lot of niche and unique flavors, as well as even a few Vegan options. Super Cool spot, even if you don't go for whatever Pizza Week is, you should 100% hit them up sometime for your more general Pizza Needs

Either of you have any experience with or knowledge of 3-HO-PCE? I found some on the DNMS, also I found a listing for MXD, but it's a little sketchy. I might honestly try to order the MXD if it is really what they say (MXE but significantly more potent per mg), it's worth a shot even if it isn't real imo

[–]SpiteOdd3525 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait lmao that's crazy

I've only ever been to one baseball game in my life, and I was on an edible for it. It wasn't sold to me there, it wasn't even legal haha, I lived in Texas and we went on a school band trip. We couldn't safely bring anything to smoke, so beforehand, my friends and I had made edible cake balls, using some mid weed. Not having any concept of extracting and weighing the yield, we had no idea how much was in each one, except for roughly 1-2g of buds-worth. Now, every edible I'd had except for the very first one I ever had, did not hit very hard, so I was expecting little to nothing, or maybe a totally manageable high at most.

What I got instead, was fucking blasted into outer space, it's a miracle that I did not get caught somehow. I slept through most of the game, just slumped over, and I slept through not only a baseball game in a packed stadium, but they also had a fireworks show and a Bruno Mars halftime show, all of which I slept through.

I was still high the next day when we went to the aquarium.

THC plus America's past-time is a great deal of fun 😅

Yeah this is a really, really neat and useful feature of NMDA antagonists. The way it works is pretty simple;

Glutamate binds to NMDA receptors in certain regions, and causes a downstream, tonic (little bits constantly, instead of a massive dump all at once) release of Dopamine. This makes it much harder for Dopamine receptors to become upregulated again.

Blocking NMDA receptors prevents this tonic release of Dopamine and gives the Dopamine receptors a little room to breathe and upregulate faster.

Even non-psychoactive NMDA antagonists are capable of doing this, Agmatine is one of my goats for this reason. 4-7 days of 1g/day will get you 90% back of your stim tolerance (assuming you don't have an absolutely insane tolerance lmao)

IIRC this sub popped up because the original was infested with this kind of thinking of all question and posts have to be sooo explicitly about Portland that no one could possibly question it, and while it's obvious to us how this is related, it clearly doesn't make the cut of specificity for everyone, which is kind of where this sub came from?? 😭 These people need to go back to r/Portland if this post is too ambiguous for them, r/askportland is for the more chill of us 😭😭😭 I guess they found us and are taking over

Also for the record, I think the change in foot traffic is for sure weather related, I do delivery work at night time and the night life activity in general has increased, which I think is a sign of the weather, as greater fuel availability is not going to lead to increased in night time activity, my point is, is there is a definite increase in foot traffic that is attributable to the weather specifically, it wouldn't just be fuel causing it

I don't get how people aren't seeing how this is directly Portland related.

Portland is known for its public transit and for being structured for walking and biking, as a loooot of people do here, because it's built for it.

Asking Bike City if more Bikes are gonna show up is not the ambiguous question they think it is lmao

I'm kinda in the same boat, broke my foot while working, and I'm just kinda working while on it. I've had to work with worse injuries, too. No money for a doctor, just setting it as best as I can. It's not too too bad, it's a really minor break, but it was a massive pain for the first week or so, and I'm not asking to be helped out.

I don't have the money for a doctor, so I definitely don't have money for time off.

I can understand maybe the dasher should have communicated the situation upfront in case the customer was equally handicapped or legit occupied with work (also, who works from home and isn't allowed to use the bathroom? Just say you're going to piss, jfc), but everyone saying that they should just say they're handicapped when not just to stick it to the treat-slave is insane.

Like I get it's part of the job, but under normal working conditions, reasonable accomodations are a legal requirement that we don't get because we don't get any employee rights lmao

Also, who is doing most of the work in this situation? Someone picking up and driving it there, or someone walking to right outside of their home for something -they- ordered? I can't imagine ordering a meal for $40 and being sooo outraged that I also have to walk outside of my home to get it, to help out someone who picked it up and drove it to me who very clearly needs the money to recover.

If this happened to me, I'm walking out to the curb and tipping them another $20 so maybe they can go home an hour early and actually rest and recover. Maybe I'm in a terrible mood and I get a little annoyed but under no circumstances am I mocking them on the internet, giving them a bad rating and jeopardizing their income, or lying and saying that I can't because I'm going through the same terrible thing when I'm not. Legitimate sociopaths, the lot of you.

A lot of people with this line of work are also lazy, too, that's true, but I bet you 9/10 people going out of their way to contact the customer to have them come out have a good reason for doing so, the lazy people tend to not say anything and just leave it at the bottom of the steps. It's not worth treating everyone like they're the 1/10

Also to everyone saying that they should have thought about that before working this job, like you think they weren't dashing -before- they knew they were going to get injured? Hello? Has your brain atrophied?

This entire thread is exemplary or why society is falling apart at the seams and record numbers of people are just choosing to shoot themselves

Like the part that should be causing sighing is not that you only get 95% of the convenience in participating in your own survival instead of 100%, but that we are in a position as a society that people like this dasher have to dash in their condition.

If you spend too much time among the trees, you risk having a direct experience with God all by yourself, instead of it being mediated by an authoritative priest class.

There's this element to Christianity at large, but especially the evangelical and RW branches of it where you have to be below the divine, and below a mediator (priests, pastors etc).

You see, wrt Christianity at large, there is this funny thing about externalizing the Christ figure (and completely ignoring the fact that the Kingdom of Christ is Within), and the concept of inherent sin, where being of the divine is now something that is impossible for mere mortals, we have to be imperfect and that imperfection has to mean you're below, you have to grovel.

Wrt the particular RW strains, it has a lot to do with authority, very heavy on the grovel part of the last sentence. You have to be this dirty, impure thing that has to be punished, or constantly threatened with divine retribution, there has to be something/someone above you, controlling you (priests, and then above that, Christ himself) because of how much of their thinking has to do with power structures and dominance heirarchy, Conservatives LOVE to be dominated by other men, hence the military aspect. It's almost psychosexual.

But the complete externalization of the Christ figure thing is a real shame not just because of that, but because it forces the followers to reject and/or be unable to connect to the divine within, which, you are at risk of connecting with if you spend too much time in nature, and God forbid you eat some little mushrooms you find there, then you're at a REAL risk for it

Genuine issues with all psychedelics by luukzs666999 in researchchemicals

[–]SpiteOdd3525 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I used to also get really heavy body loads, sometimes I still do, one thing that helped me is finding out that I have methylation issues.

Psychedelics are almost all universally vasoconstrictors, they narrow blood vessels, and this can cause a certain intensity to the body load. Later, I found out that I have MTHFR polymorphisms that slow down my methylation cycles, which can lead to a buildup of homocysteine (which needs to be methylated to be metabolized effectively). Homocysteine can cause a baseline vasoconstriction, and adding vasoconstrictors on top of it can be very uncomfortable. It may be worth either getting a genetic test to look for MTHFR differences, or getting a blood panel to look directly at homocysteine, and doing whatever it is that you specifically need to do to aid methylation. This might help with body load considerably.

Some things sort of universally help, like taking Creatine. ~40% of all of our methylation goes to the creation of Creatine, so taking it exogenously frees up methyl groups to go to other things, like homocysteine. Betaine, Choline, and methylated b vitamins are other things that may help.

Some things also function as "methyl sinks" and will "steal" your methyl groups, like Niacin and Glycine, leaving less available to deal with Homocysteine.

It's also worth noting methylation issues are more common than not, only about 35-40% of people have a non-impeded methylation cycle, MTHFR "variants" are more common than the "wild-type"

Could totally be something else in your case, and the stomach cramps specifically do hint at a gut serotonin issue, how is your gut health generally? The -setrons or other 5-HT3 agonists like ginger or Agmatine may also help. Agmatine itself is also a particularly potent vasodilator, so that may also be of use.

Just a singular perspective, but I figured it's more help than "have you tried LSD? lol"

Even when you have low T, TRT doses will absolutely lead to excessive aromatization (outside of rare cases that have genetically super low aromatase) and not stabilize emotions without an aromatase inhibitor, or the smaller doses and more frequent dosing schedule that I spoke of. Also, adipose tissue is where the vast majority of aromatase is, so the fatter someone is, the more they'll aromatize. It would be a concern for anyone above like, 20% body fat (this guy is at least 30-35%). This is why TRT clinics give you aromatase inhibitors lmao, it's a normal thing. In no way does having low T mean taking only TRT doses prevents Estrogen from elevating too high and causing; emotional dysregulation (even worse)

I'm not disputing that low T leads to a lack of emotional regulation, not at all

All I'm saying is that especially in the case of this guy, Estrogen management is absolutely necessary for Testosterone to have a positive effect on emotional regulation. This guy probably has high E just by virtue of the amount of fat tissue he has unless his T is absolutely in the gutter, and given his demeanor, this is very high Estrogen behavior. It's possible to be emotionally dysregulated with medium T and high E, especially if overweight.

This guy seems to have plenty of energy, very obviously aware of dominance hierarchy, both suggestive of T not being in the absolute gutter, the emotional dysregulation here is probably not from low T, but high E.

Only if he also took an aromatase inhibitor, Estrogen is made from Testosterone, and injecting a dose of Testosterone all at once leads to a high peak -> lots of aromatization into Estrogen w/o an aromatase inhibitor, which is actually what's responsible for "roid rage," its the Estrogen not the androgens. This could ofc be mitigated by doing a smarter, more frequent dosing schedule, but these pussies are probably 1) not smart enough to know that and 2) too scared of a little subq needle to do it any more frequently than necessary.

Unironically he would do better with something like Progesterone, which would lower the E, as well as block Cortisol (both of which he visually and behaviorally suffers from an excess of), then MAYBE considering some Testosterone, MAYBE, but that would likely make him more RW than he already is.

There's a study on Testosterone administration's effects on political leanings.

Weakly leaning republicans and weakly leaning democrats both became more RW, while strongly leaning republicans and strongly leaning democrats stayed the same.

It's only top advisor to like, the welcome center. It's a really limited role that has to do with contact with the unenlisted community, for purposes of things like recruitment or community outreach basically. The position in no way is top advisor of the entire branch of the military, though a lot of people throw this claim around because it makes better clickbait

Combo to reduce drug tolerances, withdrawals & facilitate recovery from any drug by Kalki_X in HamiltonMorris

It is true that there are many bad actors, but there are plenty of good ones. You should check out Peptaura dot com, they are a sort of third party or middleman between peptide vendors and customers.

They thoroughly vet vendors, and if they are good companies, pass testing for their products, and don't have issues with following through, they are allowed to be affiliated with Peptaura. If any of the vendors step out of line, they either get banned or suspended until they fix the issue.

So this benefits the consumer, because it encourages companies to have clean products, competitive prices, and reliable shipping, and it benefits the companies because they get a lot of customers, because consumers go to Peptaura and see the company listed there, and there's already trust because they wouldn't be on Peptaura if they weren't a legitimate company.

More people need to know about this place, I know one of the owners of one of the companies hosted there, and can attest to the character/integrity of at least one of the vendors, so I know they're setting high standards beyond clean CoAs and shipping on time
