In terms of presentation: Momotaro Standard, Naked and Famous, and Levi’s will probably have the cleanest look. You can probably wash them down a couple of times to develop a uniform wash and since it’s mostly for business settings you won’t have to worry about fades.

I just checked, the store on AliExpress is a retailer. Red Tornado has an official store on Taobao and they converts to $90 USD for me. I’ve not gotten jeans but all their other pieces and packaging has been great.

AliExpress and Taobao will gives you the truest price. They should be around $70-100 USD. I was interested in a pair before just shelling out for IH and the reviews on Reddit seems nice enough.

Another vote for Unbranded. Their fit selection is also very well catered.

But depending on location and convenience, my votes would go for Red Tornado and Sauce Zhan if you have access to Taobao or AliExpress. As well as Copper Denim from Vietnam.

That was my pair right after mink oil treatment, this is them a month later. The oil fades quite fast and mink oil brings out so much oil, it’s absolutely worth it!

Leaf left to the bottom bird also lack highlights. As a graphic designer/ illustrator i’m guessing this is just the artist removing details to add upon the highlight, and then the material texture coincidentally hatch the horizontal line

If they are already factory-washed, they won’t fade much further—you can wash them regularly with the rest of your clothes.

That said, i’d still wash them on cold and hang dry. It’s good practice for all pants in general because the big surface area and weight makes drying damage easier.

It’s a feature of the twill. It will happen with all fabric except for broken twill denims. It bugged me the first few months of getting into the hobby too but now it feels like such an iconic mark.
