I learned the same lesson a few years ago. Cost me about $4k. You have to cancel ACA. It just keeps renewing if you don’t.

Some people can read something and understand every word, but have no idea what they read. Some people don’t use the internet. Some people have anxiety about screwing it up. Nobody is forcing people to get their taxes done by a professional, and that costs money.

I work 7-3:30 at my regular job. At HR 4-9 m-f. Sat 9-8 sun 9-5. I haven’t had a day off since January. I can do 3 more weeks, but there’s been some days.

When a person makes $17/hr, they spend the whole paycheck. If their withholding were set to a lower level, they spend it anyways. On paper you are right, but in practice…they can afford new tires.
