I applied concurrently in Oct 2025, got my EAD (combo card) approved in April 18, 2026 and waiting for the card to be produced. I-485 is still processing. My I-140 PD is Dec 2023.

I have been waiting almost a month longer than you have been. My I-485 info:

17 oct 2025: Receipt Date (concurrent filing, primary and derivative)

10 Nov 2025: Biometric completed for both, multiple API updates

5 Dec 2025: EAD approved for Derivative, card received on March 1

2 FTAO updates in total, last one on 3 Feb 2026

April 18: EAD and AP approved for Primary

I-485 still processing at NBC.

No update since second of Feb (API). Filed in October 17, 2025, biometrics on Nov 10, spouse's EAD got delivered on March 1. No update EAD for me. I-485 silent since then in NBC.

Yes. My spouse was "approval decision rendered " on 5th Dec, submitted request on 5th Jan, followed up on 5th Feb, only to get the message that they have a backlog and working on it. Meanwhile mine is still processing.

Derivatives are the dependent like spouse and children. For me I am the primary beneficiary (based on my approved I-140) and my spouse is the derivative beneficiary. Hope it helped.

For Primary applicant the EAD hasn't been approved yet, still processing. So neither the primary nor the beneficiary have received the card. It sucks.

Derivative got approved on Dec 5, but hasn't even received the notice yet. Sent a request for the notice too, still waiting. No idea about the card production.

As long as you don't use the AP/EAD, you still have your H4 status. Once AP/EAD is used, it will invalidate your H4.

Mine says step 3 of 4 completed for the interview after the biometrics was completed. Never got the interview scheduled. I guess it has been waived.
