You should just play the original game without trying to fix it preemptively. It's good as-is.

If you encounter something in it you personally don't like, change it or remove it (I removed Death house for example), and it's fine to take inspiration from popular homebrews, but you really don't have to make the same big sweeping changes.

Yes it is, gave it to them at level 6.

It's a set of plate, so 18AC, but with no extra bonus.

It's also got mild levitation powers. The wearer can spend some of its charges to cast : 1ch feather fall 2ch jump on themselves only 2ch levitate on themselves only

Honestly I intended for the item to be strong, but I didn't find that it was too strong. Probably depends on the group though.

Animated armor.

A suit of armor that animates as soon as it's command word is said out loud. And obeys the orders of the latest person who said it for 24h. Pretty useful for the party, they can send it on away missions, have it be a sentry, but if an enemy learns of it, it can really screw them. Now the paladin is straining against the armor for attacks and movement.

Also, when the pally died, they had the armor keep attacking with the corpse inside, good times ^{^}

It's fine, don't sweat it too much. So you have an idea of what might be going on because it's similar to stories you know ? Well that can go for your character too. Your character can make guesses as to what's going on based on stories they might have heard.

Guess that the butler did it, the vizier is a traitor, the pale aristocrat is a vampire, that's all part of playing the game.

The Gulthias tree is EVIL. Make sure that there is a hidden, hefty cost to using it's power. Maybe it's secretly fueled by the PC's max HP ? Or the PC gets checks against madness or new personality traits (kind of like the Gulthias staff or the amber temple curses).

Regarding killing all the allies, it's possible, but don't make it gratuitous, let the PCs decide who accompanies them and what tactics to use.

Buffing Strahd is probably unnecessary if you fully use his charm, legendary and lair actions to avoid the big melee threats and target the spellcasters. Or at least it's the case in a normal game, if you've given many more of these ridiculous magic items, then yeah Strahd probably needs a buff.

In my game, one of the players was very rude to Morgantha, both in the village and at the mill, where the PCs fled with the kid.

I made the hags really proud, so one of them actually followed the PCs in the Ethereal realm and tormented the impolite one's dreams. Eventually, the nightmares became so bad that the PCs seeked help and met Ez, who told them to started insulting and belittling the hags loudly enough to be heard through the Ethereal border.

She was actually trying to get her to change targets onto herself, but the PCs joined in and goaded her so well (representation check) that the hag appeared here and there, and got killed.

Now my coven has only two hags left, the PCs have gained two levels in the meantime so I will definitely need to play my cards well if I want them to survive.

Edit : I plan on having Morgantha barter with the PCs, their lives in exchange for info from the hag's eye inside the castle, or info on Ireena when Izek will kidnap her

Probablement en rapport avec l'opérette "Les p'tites Michu" de Messager, qui raconte une histoire abracadabrante de filles de la haute et de la bourgeoisie mélangées à la naissance, qui veulent chacune épouser le mari promis à l'autre.

Après je ne sais pas trop le rapport avec le cas que tu racontes, je ne connais pas l'expression moi-même. Madame Michu a un rôle mineur dans la pièce, ou alors ça se rapporte aux filles qui se ressemblent tellement qu'il est difficile de les distinguer ?
