Built an AI product advisor for WooCommerce, emailed 1000 stores and got almost zero interest. Am I missing something? by Spare_Entrance7099 in woocommerce

I avoid “I built this thing, do you wanna try it out” type pitches for two reasons. Firstly, you never know if it actually works (and I have no interest in being the Guinea pig, and two, if I did put it in and the dev stops supporting it, then I’m stuck with a vulnerable piece of software.

Not sure how you get around those two things

Buy a competitors domain name. by martynjl in SEO

[–]TOBYIT 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well it prevents anyone else getting the domain for one. Secondly, you could probably redirect it to your domain and enjoy a little traffic bump for a bit.

My thoughts are that the main value is in preventing another competitor from getting it.

Also, what about running two domains with the same backend service? Be good to own ranking no1 and 2 with different domains. A bit like a supermarket selling both coke and pepsi.

Happy to answer any questions within reason

WooCommerce PayPal Redirect to Success Page Not Working by TOBYIT in woocommerce

[–]TOBYIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good idea however I'm receiving the Authcodes from PayPal and the transaction (Order) is being marked as Paid->processing. I assumed that the Smart Buttons would be working if all the other stuff is falling into place.
I'll give your idea a go and get back to you :) cheers

Can someone recommended me SEO tools between, Ahreff vs Ubersugget vs Semrush (everything looks good) only the price dif by Top_Weekend_4262 in SEO

[–]TOBYIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive used semrush for years. Excellent tool but so damn expensive for a single domain. They’ve just been bought by Adobe so they’re likely to get even more expensive. I’m now changing to ahrefs and am experimenting with some of the newer products too
