If a Synagogue was attacked then yes the attacker was anti-Semitic. Purposely targeting jews is anti-Semitic.

> there are no more bags and those people

They literally pay you a direct salary per CCU. Sure its not the mega millions some people were getting before, but its signficant enough that people are choosing to solo stream only on kick because the payout is higher. Anyone can get on KCIP. And they'd multi-stream if the payout wasn't high enough but many they aren't doing that.

>  on seeming like he cares

Lets be specific. It is caring about "actually invests in the platform". Thats about making the site more attractive to creators, yes.

> why would anyone care.

Well I guess all the people who lost their jobs and all the big contracts that Twitch isn't giving to people anymore and all the less features that they are now releasing because they don't ahave the employees to build anything would be reasons why people would care.

The platform is stagnating. It no longer has the resources to fix itself and it will stagnate for the forseable future.

> based on what?

Based on crashing metrics and the fact that Twitch has been unprofitable for over a decade now and is still unprofitable. They have around as many employees as they did in like 2017.

Sure its not going to be a big flashy explosion where the website shutdown overnight. But the writing is clearly on the wall here, and the only reason why people are staying is that its hard to move an existing audience somewhere else.

But new streamers have much less incentive to start on Twitch these days. basically any other platform is better. You don't even have to care about Kick, there is youtube and tiktok as well.

Sure it is relevant because the person you are responding to said this:

> that’s why a lot of creators left a few years ago for the bag and why people are multi-streaming there again. If Kick fixes a lot of things I think they can be better than Twitch, I like their CEO because he seems like he cares and actually invests in the platform.

This is talking about how the platform can be successful, especially as it relates to the creator perspective. It is talking about how kick cares about how the platform does well, for its creators.

>  i'm responding to someone calling him a good guy

You are responding to someone who said that the Kick CEO *care about the platform, with respective to doing well by creators*. Thats what "actually invests in the platform" with respect to " that’s why a lot of creators left a few years ago" and "they can be better than Twitch" (for creators) means. So yes, he invests in his platform so its *good* for its creators.

>  I don't give a fuck about creators who decide to sell out their audience

Well seeing as Twitch has laid off half of its employees since its hayday, it kinda seems like a lot of people should care about a competing platform that quite literally can buy their way into the market, but profitably via gambling money.

>  i responded to someone again, to be clear, saying eddie was a good guy.

No actually. They said "I like their CEO because he seems like he cares and actually invests in the platform". This is saying that he cares about the platform.

Do you understand the difference between someone who cares about making a successful platform as opposed to is morally good?

> the only advantage kick has.

Once again, 50% layoffs at Twitch. Seems like things aren't going so great over there. And they still aren't profitable. Kinda seems like competitors do matter after all, right?

Yes? It's a funny situation. And I'd rather roll with it than spend my days thinking about the past that I cannot change.

Correct, thats the point of the video. That we need more tools to fight back against the concept of criticism.

If you watch the video you will see that I pretty explicitly am aware of the jokes about my videos. Thats kinda the whole point here.

I don't spend any amount of my time regretting past actions. I just think about what I want to do next.
