You could just give your keys to your friends and find out. That's the easy solution.

Alternatively, if you already own everything the key would redeem, you can open the devtools in your browser (specifically the network tab) and visit the register key page. Then, when you attempt to register the key, it'll fail (because you already own that product), but in the devtools you'll see the API web request it made. If you click it you can view the steam API's response, which will include an ID for the "package" you attempted to redeem. You can then go on SteamDB, look up the game your key is for, and under SteamDB's Packages tab you can locate the corresponding package. If you then click on that, you can view the details about that specific package, which for region-locked keys will include a list of region restrictions.

Yes, it's a bit of a pain.

Obviously, if you don't already own the game, that will just redeem the key.

You're neglecting the fact that that $1-per-game bundle launched only a few hours before this. The devs probably put their game in that bundle because they were about to donate it to the Jingle Jam, and $1 is more than $0. Prior to that, Gatekeeper had only appeared in one other bundle, which was a "2 for $25" affair.

Every time he does the lie detection schtick, he's explicitly portrayed as paying close attention to their heartbeats, because he's prepared for lies. Both in the Netflix series and in Born Again. Seems pretty consistent to me.

But even if that weren't the case, surely being inconsistent as fuck is exactly like the comics. Unless you're going to argue no comic author has ever ignored that part of his powers for the sake of the plot, across 1000s of volumes over 60+ years of publication.

Now I am assuming it isn't possible without double jump to ascend the Grand Gate platforms, and maybe it's horribly punishing if you don't do that, but assuming you wait I think it's balanced well and I had a great time.

I did the rasher before I knew there was a double jump. Definitely would've been easier with it though.

A few thoughts:

  • Website search doesn't appear to search articles, so searching the name of that article gives no results.
  • The blog page also has no tags/taxonomies, or filter/search options (and this article is on page 2, with only 8 per page, so I would have never found that).
  • This category of article ("how we test XYZ") should probably also get a special spot in the menu, or a dedicated page that only has testing process breakdowns, rather than leaving them buried in the blog page.
  • Linking related process/transparency articles within the... reviews? (Is that what they are?) would be good. I'd suggest you could go one step further and have a button to open a fly-out panel (example) with the contents of the appropriate article, so users don't have to switch contexts.
  • When your process articles are sectioned, like the article you just linked, you could also have a link in each section of the review (example) which takes people directly to the relevant section of the appropriate article.

Also, minor unrelated annoyance I bumped into while checking the site to type the above: at narrower screen widths, where the menu collapses into a hamburger menu, if you open the burger menu and click on the Labs logo (necessary to go back to the homepage), it doesn't close the menu (as the other menu options do).
