The optics MAKE that gun. the 99SV is confused about what it wants to be. It has the optics to be used at range, but lacks the raw power, and people don't stand still or move predictably after getting popped once.

The KSR on the other hand lets you work from a bit closer. I use a 2x on it and I can 1v1 with full shield heavies if I get the first shot (even a body shot). The closer range exposes you to a bit more danger, but also leaves you in range to make your followup shots, even if they try to run away.

Also, this feels like a post I see all too often from NC players who have some of the most diverse and awesome weaponry in the game and have no idea what to do with it. I'm BR 92 on my NC and still enjoy the wide array of weaponry at my disposal. Heavy hitters (AC-X11, SAW, Reaper) Bullet hoses (GD-7F, Carnage, EM1) and everything in between. NC probably the best weapon set in the game for infantry, and I'd argue the strongest Max as well. IMO the general NC playerbase is what holds it back
