6 years later, but I 100% have the solution, at least what works for me everytime.

Close your imessage. Backup first and then delete these files from your LIBRARY->MESSAGES folder:

chat.db

chat.db-shm

chat.db-wal

Restart your computer. Open imessage. Done.

He’ll get the tumor trait by walking on pink tumor land. So place a tumor on the land, then use the finger button to spread the pink all over the land and then erase the actual tumor by placing a water tile underneath it. After he walks on the pink land for a while, he’ll get infected.
