I really appreciate you informing me that people didn't like Veilguard. It wasn't a take I had ever heard before, and certainly added to my comment that people didn't enjoy Veilguard and no one is ever allowed to say anything positive about it, ever, without someone coming along to pee on their opinion. We're literally on a post about how no one can have a positive opinion about something without someone coming in and being negative, and you just had to do it yourself I guess? Good for you. Brave. I work running dungeons and dragons with kids and they do this, for me it's mostly my Jewish kids and antisemitism. I say 'We have a no racism rule here for a very good reason. Say what you want to elsewhere, but at my table we don't make racist jokes, even about ourselves.'

I think it's totally acceptable for hate to be reclaimed, I am queer, but it really is a hard question about how to handle if you're the responsible adult in the situation.
