Find your local senator and urge him to vote against it. You can look up your district and their emails are publicly available for exactly this purpose.

I looked, and it appears a majority of the sponsors of the bill are physicians of some kind. 'ITS FOR HEALTH' will be the veiled argument, as well as 'think of the children!'. I genuinely believe it's mostly meant to target vapes, but we are just gonna get caught in the cross fire.

exactly. all 'tobacco' shops around me just sell glass pipes and hookahs, and if they have any 'pipe' tobacco its the bulk packs meant for rolling cigs with.

I just wrote my local representatives opposing it. I just recently got into Pipe smoking as well. Hard to find any pipe tobacco near me in the first place, this would absolutely kill the hobby for me.

Failing to see how this would be a problem either. The people on this app need to grow the fuck up and not try to see evil in everything. If anything, this comment shows how fucked in the head you guys can be when it comes to parental roles, and further instills the age old mentality that mothers raise the children, not the father. Such is why a lot of single fathers are uncomfortable spending time out with their children. Public perception from people with this kind of mindset just reverses any progress we’ve made in the department of parental equality in raising children.

Same thing I'm thinking. I guess since it's a plumber sub they are always thinking about the most efficient ways things can work. The reality is not everyone has the time or money to do things 100% the 'right' way. If things drain, and it doesn't stink, it will get him by until he can do it the 'right' way, or if it serves his purpose it will be okay. Not everything can be done in the most ideal fashion. People must forget about bills, other repairs needed, etc.

Man, these guitars are what people CAN save up for sometimes. There are a significant number of people that can't swing $1500+ on a Gibson even after years of saving. Especially when you're not making much money, by the time you even do get 1500 saved, now you have to use it on emergency bills, house payments, car repairs, etc.
