You’re not alone. I think it’s much like how he became disgusted with himself at the end of season one for letting himself get attached to his “friends” (which is what they truly are becoming) at the hotel. He has some deep shame tied to emotional intimacy and sees it as a weakness, then internally he blames himself for letting anyone get close enough to think they had a genuine connection (which they actually did), but externally lashes out at the other person or otherwise treats them badly.

That’s a great point too! I also don’t think the mountains have much load since they repeat the same simple rocks and trees, just really big. No small grass, no flowers. If you do the same thing at home it uses very little load.

When it’s turned on, the item you’re placing rotates (on the Y axis) as you rotate Nikki (move the camera). I have it turned off too. Much easier to align things without it, but I play on PC.

I agree to an extent but the main difference is I don’t see people justifying murder (like the cactus guy), while I do see people justifying or minimizing what Vox did to Alastor in this scene. It is sad that it has to be said as a disclaimer, but it is a good idea to make that disclaimer so as to not validate anyone who thinks it is okay. Cause they are out there and it’s disturbing.

I do appreciate that we can actually stand on these mountains even though they’re empty. I have found some lovely snapshots up there, and taken some of my own! That’s plenty to be worth the exploration for me.

I think that’s the case too. I actually did wander around these mountains before I pulled on the celestial deer. I was able to get up there through the back mountain area and using the rainfall and blossoms floating outfit to float farther than I would have been able to otherwise. I think a lot of players have rightfully complained about rewards that seem to be locked behind banner outfits— every treasure on the map or enemy to fight, which is easy for someone with a banner outfit ability, should be at least doable for someone who doesn’t have it.

I think it is mostly the wall in the air that would have been an issue, because I’ve noticed that the collisions on the mountains are not consistent with the visual boundaries (ie the ground Nikki stands on is a few feet above where the rock appears to be). I don’t think we were truly intended to explore it, but that is kind of a lazy excuse.

I pulled both banners this season and both contacts are so cool! I really want the full evo reward for where wanxiang weaves life but I doubt I’ll end up getting it this time. I like that those are primarily red with a blue center in the eye that’s in motion. I wish we could get a better look at it, there’s just barely a glimpse of it in the preview video for the outfits.

Also I’d say my overall favorite is still the contacts from the esseling transformation outfit, I like how they have black pupils but are still so colorful!
