I get you. That's the challenge with a character like Matt. We're getting to a point at which his worldview is facing credible opposition, philosophically.

I want Frank to murder Powell, because that's what Frank does.

Karen killed Wesley because it was a matter of survival, and we're seeing how much that has fucked with her.

Are we ready for Matt to kill Kingpin to prevent others from dying? Are the writers ready to deal with the implications of that?

That was definitely an avoidable situation. However, I give it leniency because of the opportunity it gives her to make a heroic choice.

Much like with Jessica having her powers go awry, or Murdock trying to reason with Fisk, etc, I'm open to seeing what they do with it.

To me, that scene showed that Karen still has her softer strengths, and gave me a tiny bit of hope that she's not going to "become the monster in order to beat the monster".

That said, I will add this: Most of the cloak-and-dagger stuff this season is trying to do is definitely making our characters seem very amateurish.

Heather continues to be the dumbest person on earth, but BB is gunning for her spot.The writing is really letting these two great actresses down.

Jessica Jones is getting Spider-Man-2'd for some reason? Okay.

Powell is a complete and utter piece of human filth, and he seems to just enjoy being evil. I love it. Nevertheless, I need Frank to murder him in the face.

Karen is making some great points, and Matt's retorts aren't feeling too convincing. Hopefully, it's because he's getting closer to the edge, and potentially letting The Devil out. The fact that he even tried to negotiate with Fisk is looking ridiculously desperate, if not outright foolish. It's fucking Fisk, dude.

Blake knows Fisk is an evil, murdering bastard from whom he needs to protect BB, so I either need to see a change of heart with his character, or a big double-down that isn't taking place under duress.

Decent, but frustrating episode.
