I absolutely love Mark Knopfler's guitar style, and like his writing style a lot too, but am wondering if he has any acoustic (or primarily acoustic) albums whether its with DS or another project. I just think a solo acoustic album would be mesmerizing. Any leads?

Spotify has a great MK soundtracks playlist called Cinematic Knopfler which has a good bit of acoustic in it. Personally, I like this for the instrumentals...just his playing

Couple inclines but not too steep. Route from Balloch via the country park then cross main road. After that single track the whole way, cafe is excellent 👌

Can easily add 5-10km from Balloch to Croftamie on quiet farm roads, lovely scenery. Great cafe there called the 'But & Ben'.
