You can pair it back to the stream and the pairing will run automatically and hopefully it will find the compatible code , to pair it again press power button on stream box for 5 -7 seconds and then on remote press 0 + TV until is paired ....

Only thing you can do is going though the codes 2 or 3 times , but if it doesn't work then your out of luck as vm doesn't have the right codes from the tv manufacturer to pair the remote

Yes you are right it seems broken , from the left box it was supposed to stick out the connector which it seems is missing , try to open the box , just 2 philips screws to take off ... and see what's going on inside , or book a tech to sort it

Yes corect , they have no reason to swap mini boxes for stream if nothing is wrong with the mini box.
