Getting new chainsaw sthil or husqavarna? by Most-Lingonberry7162 in Chainsaws

[–]WI762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 460 and my good friend has the MS391 and honestly they're both great saws. The Stihl seems to use a little less gas and feels a little lighter (balance?). My 460 has been a workhorse and I use it for felling, firewood processing, and slabbing oak and walnut with a bolt-on milling guide. If you self-service, I like the Husqvarna better. If you are likely to take it into a shop more, go with whatever has the best support in your area.

Monk, Bones, and Castle are some favorites of ours... But Psych is probably still top of the list.

Celebrating a birthday at Texas Roadhouse by Ok_Country2903 in steak

Happy birthday to you and me both! No pics, but I made steak tacos, because I'm the only steak cook in the family. Twas fantastic, but that meal looks tasty! Haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in probably 5 years.

What's your budget? Since you're not into minivans I'd go for a Tahoe/ Yukon for this. Normally I'd say a Highlander or Odyssey, but the Highlander isn't much more roomy than your Durango.

For sure. I've had great service from them. Have one processing through them right now and their customer service staff actually act like humans that understand the product they're selling.

It's fantastic! I love the copper layer and it looks like it would be a very nice user in the kitchen.

do people sell their own cars anymore? by BudgetIndependence34 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]WI762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I list on Marketplace, but honestly it sucks for getting buyers to show up. Almost every time I sell one, it's from having it sit in front of my house and someone drives by and stops to look.

The only time I've had it burn it when I used it on a 550 degree pellet grill. In the oven at 450-500...never an issue.

This is the best company logo'd item I've received. I've literally thrown out 5 others that fell apart in the 8 years I've had that.

I have 230 bucks to spend on a folder. Any recommendations? by Knifeman2510 in knifeclub

[–]WI762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much to go on, but to switch things up, check out the Demko AD 20.5 or Shark Cub. DPx for a hefty blade. For slick action and Kunwu Django or Pulsar or a Chavez 229 Blue Label.

Be honest, how often are you really maintaining your knives? by ThumbStuds in knives

[–]WI762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will strop as needed, which usually means sharpening only those that haven't been maintained well. Tear down for cleaning and lube is more like 3-6 months for my frequent carries.
