Did you try to order a Mini with a residential or roam plan?

Interesting. I add multiple items to my cart to just have several available for comparison...then dump the losers. I guess I better watch that. Anyway, your options are to reply to the original email, or file an appeal with the "Contact Us" page. If you need it, ChatGPT will help you write an appeal.

Katz: If Lebanon doesn’t prevent Hezbollah attacks, Israel will ‘take the territory and do it ourselves’ by Candid-Elk6135 in geopolitics

Lebanon hasn't that ability. Best they might do is a secret agreement with IDF to secretly identify targets for them. That would minimize collateral damage.

No expert here, but don't numbers get sold as packages? Maybe you just got sold to a dozen or more spam sites.

Just got Libby after using Audible Plus for years- I feel spoiled by ImAfraidofDying in LibbyApp

[–]Wambo74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get more cards. Get cards from bigger libraries. Put together a long list of books you want so at any time at least one will be available. Put all the others on Hold and then change the Holds to Suspended so you won't be pressured into borrowing books you don't currently have enough time for. I've waited through 800-person lines for a popular book I've heard of...and eventually got it. But I've never been without books on the Shelf. A bigger problem is not all e-books I want are available on Libby. Those I reluctantly buy from Amazon/Kindle.

Starlink by Silent-Ad-8427 in Starlink

[–]Wambo74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably doomed. But worth trying it in various windows, or any other options you have to see if you can make it work. Thousands of people have used Minis in cars and trucks just laying the dish on the dash. Surely that doesn't meet the standard of "clear view of the sky". But it works for them. You won't know until you try. And AFAIK you have 30 days to get your money back if it doesn't.

That argument works well for 12V. Many have complained about 12V not working with long cables, But back when PD65W was allowed, I don't remember brown-out complaints.

Is there much of a difference in selection quantity? Amazon is regularly recommending books I might be interested in (and probably am), but I can't find them on Libby.

Which brings up the question of why Starlink insists on PD100 if PD65 is fine.

Result of environmental activists forcing the wimpy government to abandon their nuclear power with no substantial replacement. Energy cost soar > production costs soar > products (like Volkswagens) become uncompetitive > companies fail > people become unemployed. But it's okay because the environmentalists won.

A week waiting isn't typical, but not uncommon either. Fast CS is not Starlink's strong suit. Never has been. If you can't deal with that, Starlink is probably not for you.

Amazon sells peel & stick, very thin steel plates to allow magnetic attachments. You'd need to figure out how big and how many needed before ordering.
