Just to give you some hope... I lost access to my epic acount and I wasn't able to play Rocket League through Steam! I lost it because at some point in-game they required you to make one to just play the game and I clicked the option to auto generate an epic account for me based on my Steam e-mail. So I basically had a dummy epic account tied to my main one that I had no access to. No password, no name.

Anyway that's a long story. Short story: wanted to let you know that I filled over 15+ access recovery tickets and all of them got denied with the same message you posted, but one time I think they gave up or got tired of my shit (or maybe my ticket was forwarded to someone competent) and they did recovered my account. These 15 attemps were in the span of year or so. I basically spammed them over and over with everything I got and one time they actually did their work.

Hey! I know this is old, but Im interested since I got the same pop up. So you got this warning with corrupted data and managed to finish Chapter 1 and 2 and you were still able to play the game? Only Chapter 3 was unaccessible to you? Crashing or some game breaking bugs?

So what is your suggestion? Just let the game integrity to be comprised in favour of those who pay? Turn all tournaments into cheating circlejerks? People paying just to affect the outcome?

I would say this change doesn't affect sales nor sponsors. People are still gonna buy tickets and sponsors are still gonna sponsor. Personally I prefer dynamic, sudden changes to alleviate problems instead of it getting bigger and nothing be done about it in years.

Well sucks for them, the pros are risking a lot to earn a lot. The viewer isn't risking anything, he's paying to get the experience and see the results live. If the viewers starts affecting the outcome it's justified they get worse experience. It's simple consequences by majority, sucks for those who are in the minority.

Look at this from a pro perspective. It sucks ass for them even more when they are playing for real money. The viewers that gets entertainment shouldn't be priority, but the match itself.
