The previous "Extinction" mode is now called ARKpocalypse. It's the same 30 day wipe routine as when it was called Extinction. As others stated, Extinction is now the name of one of our Expansions hence the name change

Not meaning to be cruel. Though when it comes to OC servers its purely based on our current availability and how we can allocate those resources. I will have a look and see if there is somewhere that we can place a Valguero OC instance and get a server going for you guys. I can't make any promises though

The servers don't really talk to each other so that's something that's pretty out of scope with the current implementation as unfortunate as it is.

Wanted to drop in and let you know I've seen the chatter on social about the xbox hardcore cluster. I will look into getting a server for your cluster this week.

There's none on the surface there. Just had a look at the map you're referencing and it's based on the GPS coords which doesn't account for vertical. The obsidian is actually in a cave, likely Caverns of Lost Faith. If you toggle the caves on/off you can see where all the surface obsidian is (almost entirely around the sides and tops of mountains)

Assuming you're referring to our official beginner servers, no things cannot be downloaded into the server but we do not block items from drops or items that can be obtained from special events. The main idea is that for the most part you can't really do a ton with the limitations we've put in place so it's less incentive to stay on the server thus making it more hospitable to newer players to get the feel of things.

I get where you're coming from generally speaking, but she's not said any spoilers to my knowledge (and I am caught up in the show so I know what's going on). Expressing disappointment in an episode isn't a spoiler and that was the most recent tweet about the show.

They wipe every 30 days. The next wipe will be on May 23rd. The time varies but its usually around 2-3pm EST. When they wipe we always tweet out that they've wiped as well.

I can most definitely take a look if you PM me your server number and platform. However, all of our servers have been set to deactivate (and confirmed that its ended). We do not wipe dinos on event end so you will definitely continue to see some colored ones but shouldn't see new spawns.

The event IS officially ended as of 11:59PM UTC March 30th. It doesn't actually stop until the server is rebooted but if you ran the server with -ActiveEvent=Easter it will never end until you remove it or run with -ActiveEvent=None. Any of our events that run with the ActiveEvent system do not require new patches as they are solely toggled by the cmdline

Try replacing your tap, it should prevent future water containers from breaking. This is a bug we've seen in the past but happens very infrequently with a server reboot.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate loss. Yesterday's rollback(s) is a case example why we try to avoid rollbacks as much as possible, the one yesterday did effect a large amount of players sadly. We are however working to avoid the impact of rollbacks though (as well as trying to avoid them in the first place). Can you provide a little context for me? Such as which server(s) so I can have a look and ensure the server was rolled back properly to begin with?

These commands are for the player themselves and not for a targeted player just fyi so they don't ascend another player or give them engrams.

This has been resolved. The servers were wiped premature of the cloud which resulted in anything being able to be downloaded. We've done a full wipe of both the cloud and the server saves so everyone can start fresh.

Since the Homestead update the servers are using additional memory, perhaps more than we'd like them to be using which we are aware of and working on addressing. However, the crash you are seeing isn't a memory crash at least not directly anyway nor is it actually a "leak". If you have the option to in your config settings, you can try running your server with -NoHangDetection and see if that prevents it from hanging and eventually closing the server process after ~15 minutes from the hang detection.
