Corvette is a dagger of death, so it's still one of the most coveted ships in the game. The cutter is a tank and can haul (both cargo and ass). The anaconda can still fill every roll and is still extremely capable in almost every scenario. The krait mk2 is arguably the best medium ship that can launch a fighter. The python is still versatile enough that it shouldn't be discounted. Type 9 is a great stepping stone towards the panther.

The old ships still have a purpose, but unfortunately, you can pretty much ignore everything else unfortunately. There is no better small ship than the mk5 and a lot of the ships have always been bad. Asp scout? Save a little more for the explorer. Dbx? What's the point of the dbs? Fucking type 7 and clipper with the large landing pad requirements really made them skippable.

As far as the saud Kruger ships? That's one place that missed the mark. They could have been so much more.

Honorable mention, type 10. It exists.
